17.02.2022 It’s time to warm up those shoulders and move those hips for tomorrow, we dance again! Whether you’re a regular or a newbie who’s curious, you’re sure to love the feeling of freedom we get on the dancefloor! We are very mindful of all the things we can do to ensure we can keep dancing safely. We know we appreciate our dancing more than ever in times like this and want to do it as safely as possible! ... Masks are to be worn to enter and exit (and removed once dancing as it is strenuous exercise, though very joyful! And only as tricky as you want to make it!) We have a large hall that allows us to easily socially distance from each other. We use the Check in Qld app as all dancers are currently required to show their double vaccination status as per the Qld govt mandate. Hand sanitiser is always easily accessed if you need it. We have another terrific mix of songs from different genres and eras and plenty of your requests to get you moving! So pop on your comfy gear, grab a water bottle and come and join us tonight at Mountain Creek Primary School Hall to get a fun hour long workout that just feels like pleasure, rather than hard work!... By the end of the hour, you’ll have worked up a sweat (though we’ll have the aircon on, fear not!) and all your worries will be danced away! Who can ask for more than that?!! A few things to remember: Come 5 mins early so everyone can safely use the Check in Qld app to show their vaccination status as per the current mandate. We’d like to start the music on time at 7:00 so it would be great if you’re here by 6:50pm so you can check in, etc. Please wear a mask in and out (but can be removed during dancing) . We have plenty of space in our large hall to be socially distanced and hand sanitiser available. Wear anything comfy to dance in, cover any smart watch or Fitbit lights and bring your water bottle.
