20.01.2022 Thanks to the Alcoa Foundation and AnglicareWA who are now offering Outreach Appointments in Kwinana, Jarrahdale, Pinjarra and Waroona. The Byford office is currently open Wednesday-Friday, 9.00 am - 3.30 pm. Servicing Byford, surrounds and Perth Metro. These hours will be extended in the near future.

17.01.2022 We believe everyone should have a safe, secure place to call home. It is a basic human right. This last week we were faced with a massive challenge of 3 families (women & children) in 24 hours faced with living on the street due to the housing crisis. Our team will continue to do whatever we can to help but we need your support please.... Another weekend is looming with cold wet weather & we’ve run out of waterproof tents! There are 2 year waiting lists (if you’re a priority) & in the meantime - there’s zero emergency accommodation available. This is just not good enough!!! If you are able to help with smallish (2-person) tents that are easy to put together that can withstand a good downpour - please drop off directly to the Hepburn Centre (46 Highclere Boulevard, Marangaroo). Alternatively you are able to make a financial donation towards a backpack bed which costs around $115 incl. we will be placing an order in the next week. 15.01.2022 Community please advise if you can assist us with the following request: Rug/carpet and electric heater: this is a request for a family whose child has been discharged from hospital after an organ transplant. The house has no gas points so an electric heater is required. ... Also required are some rugs/carpet. It has to come from a smoke and pet free home and obviously be very clean due to the health issues the child suffers from. If you could let us know whether you can assist us in regards to this it would be greatly appreciated. Delivery this Wednesday at our Wangara warehouse, but pick up available if collection address is within 10km of that location. Thank you very much!

11.01.2022 Thank you City of Wanneroo for the donation of the beautiful & generous Christmas hampers & a huge amount of non-perishable food. (Thank you Hepburn Centre for storing it for us - we would never be able to manage without you ) Every family we help start over throughout the year gets a box of non-perishable food for their pantry and if we have, some frozen meals to make their first couple of days a little easier. Does it make a difference? In July & August alone we did 42 f...ull or partial moves! This makes a significant impact. We have shifts between 9am to 6pm on some days & 9am to 9pm on other days.
