22.01.2022 It’s what’s on the inside that matters I moved my workshop to the back pad keeping an outdoor umbrella and tarp handy (bummer not having a garage) for any weather as I started to fill in the lines. Each element needed to be carefully placed with balance and function being key. I needed to get this right. ... This is where I saved the most weight from my previous cart saving an excess of 110kg. However stripping this weight off did not mean the quality diminished, in fact I was sure to spend extra time finding the right equipment because what is on the inside is important. Much like us I suppose...

22.01.2022 On time but... Well our branded gazebo made it on time for The Bobbo. Unfortunately, our backyard will have to do. We ll be ready when things kick off again. ... Keep in mind that Lifeline and other Mental Health charities lost the opportunity to fundraise due to The Bobbo being cancelled. Consider donating anyway (if it’s within your means). https://www.lifeline.org.au/

19.01.2022 -Life underneath- In the middle of the recent craze we decided to empty esky on the weekend. We figured that it’s important that fire and drought hit areas aren’t forgotten. Having worked for a number of years in developing countries we ve come to understand that recovery is over time long after media has moved onto to the latest. Relief and aid must move to development (which is long term). Yes, we need to use sense and be wise but let’s not forget them in the year...s to come. emptyesky.com.au #emptyesky

12.01.2022 Last Event till... Yes, unfortunately we ve been affected as well by the recent pandemic. Last Sunday was our last event for a while. All of our events have been cancelled or postponed till at least September. Please keep your thoughts and prayers for all of the businesses, workers, and charities who will be struggling during these uncertain times. Support them however you can. ... We will be using this time to perfect the concept of our tiny mobile and bicycle based business and getting our brand ready for a society restart. In the meantime if you do need a mobile coffee cart let us know. We do have strong food safety controls in place in order to avoid transfer issues. As you notice here we now can fit in tight spots by moving our coffee box onto a purpose built trolley. This will be further developed to allow delivery to addresses by bike/ trike and moving to the trolley if the space is too tight. Watch this space. In the meantime keep well and keep kind!

09.01.2022 Called brother. I love it that we are included in these beautiful events.

07.01.2022 At the Core I couldn’t resist including a bit of our original cart. The fold out table worked perfectly as one of our base panels. First it symbolises our desire for sustainability to be at the core of who we are. What better way than to reuse what we were in what we are today. ... Lastly, where we came from is important. The kilometres of road I struggled up, the thousands of people we ve met on the way, what worked and what didn’t, the highs - the lows - the inbetweens make us who we are. This way we can carry the story with us. #whowewere #whoweare #atthecore #sustainability #reuse #ourstory #nomadiccafe

02.01.2022 From a sketch Too long... Well Nomads its been well well passed time since I’ve last posted. Crazy year for the world. Unfortunately for us we ve seen a huge decrease in business opportunities much like many others. ... We have turned this time instead into a creative pause. A time to reflect, dream, and create. I’ll give you a glimpse of the process over a series of posts. Starting with an old fashioned sketch.
