For any weekend warriors out there we have rental EPIRBS from as little as $9 per day- suitable for attaching to a life jacket (boating/yachting/canoeing) or backpack (if biking/walking) or small enough to chuck in the 4wd Glove Box as that back-up option for when things turn a bit hairy! 17.01.2022 We recently supported Johnny from VAULT Fitness SMC on his first crack at the Bibbulmun Track! John y accomplished 52kms in about 4 days! We supplied the ACR RESQLINK PLB to aid the journey and allow an emergency activation, if things had gone pearshaped. Thankfully Johnny was all safe!! 13.01.2022 Going North/South this Xmas? Be prepared and maybe re-route/plan b/c if possible. The northwest this time of year can be very unpredictable. Post a cyclonic event, roads can be closed forcing major detours and there may be hazards which affect your journey. Add to that the 35-45 deg temps. Getting stuck can quickly turn south for you, your family or work mates! Planning enough food, water, emergency equipment including first aid, sat phone, EPIRB and letting someone know of your updated travel plans IF you must travel, is imperative. Stay Safe this Xmas!
