23.01.2022 The hailstorm in Canberra earlier this year caused a phenomenal amount of property damage. These downpipes were caught in the line of fire (hail) and needed to be replaced. All shiny and new now :)

23.01.2022 Yes, it's my favourite subject... Ikea This is curtain track system called Vidga which can be mounted on either the ceiling or wall. It is really elegant and minimal; and has such a smooth quiet action. (and no, i don't have shares in Ikea, sadly!) The little hooky things run along inside the track - i just love them - they remind me of little handbags or boom boxes

21.01.2022 No Man's Hands has been a bit lax on the communication front for ahhhhh, several months now, hmmmmn. I intend to catch up gradually, so watch this space To kick off - this is Walter. He is simply gorgeous. No other word for it. He is calm and soft and undertakes his supervisory duties very respectfully and gently. Walter is lucky enough to live in a house that has some beautiful artworks; the most amazing is an enormous embroidery of birds. Check it out.

21.01.2022 This was a workout and a half! Loading and unloading these sleepers.. far out! It was the first time I've used those metal corner posts - it was great. Slam them in with a sledge - yeeha.

21.01.2022 The pictures aren't very exciting, I'll grant you that, but the client was very happy with the addition of adjustable shelving in her walk-in robe and her grand-daughter's wardrobe. Easy to do and a great improvement.

19.01.2022 I saw this at a house I visited recently. It is the doors to the shed/workspace. It has been tiled, as you can see :) It adds so much character to the outdoor space, situated at the end of the view from the family room. As soon as I saw it, I immediately started thinking 'now where can i fit something like this at my place?!'

19.01.2022 This cheeky little one has a brother who looks exactly the same, however this one was was lost for the majority of the time I was working. Eventually i heard a little mewing sound and opened a hallway cupboard - this little trickster flew out of it like a streak of white lightening! After he recovered from his ordeal, he came to investigate what i was doing; which was assembling floor to ceiling Ikea Pax wardrobes.

18.01.2022 Isn't this the cutest little chook house? It wasn't a No Man's Hands job, except that my friend, who is a man, had only one working hand at the time; so No Man's Hands offered my hands to make up for the man's hands. .. or something like that

15.01.2022 Meet Clyde, the relaxed tabby and Eddie, the fluffy dog. They supervised me as I undertook some plaster repairs - that recurring problem that happens when the door stop falls off and the door handle punctures the wall. Uh oh!

15.01.2022 Isn't this a fabulous upgrade! Another easy to install Ikea product; floor tiles called Runnen. It makes me so happy to do these jobs as they really are improvements.

09.01.2022 Lovely new slim venetians - they immediately changed the quality of the light in the room. Although the room was totally empty, once the venetians were up, it felt noticeably cosier.

08.01.2022 Given the physically demanding nature of the majority of No Man’s Hands work, I predict I’ll need a new career in the next decade. Hence, I hope to start training for my next career now. Can anyone recommend a trumpet teacher? Or.... even better.... does anyone play the trumpet already and be prepared to do a trade of time? Tuition time for No Man’s Hands work. I eagerly await your responses!

03.01.2022 Weeding after the rain, it was muddy but the weeds came out pretty easily. I was glad of my gloves until i realised I had orange hands! Errrghh!

01.01.2022 Greetings to my valued clients, dear friends and interested bystanders! Oh how you have been missed! I sincerely hope you and yours have stayed well (and sane) during this unusual time. No Man’s Hands is very excited to announce that work will resume as of Tuesday 2nd June. Yippeeee! I intend to simply transfer all appointments from 23rd March when work came to an abrupt halt, to begin again from the 2nd June. ... Of course, I will contact each client to confirm new dates. If you no longer need my help for a job, or wish to delay further, just let me know. I am so looking forward to getting back to it! Can’t wait to see you soon! Tally ho! See more
