25.01.2022 Another puzzle design that will be ready to go end of November. I really love this one, it's wonderfully calming to assemble. What other animals do you think might make good rainbow puzzles?

24.01.2022 Hey Everyone Thanks to a bit of a boom in my online following, I thought now would be a good time to introduce myself again! My name is Eryn, and I'm a SAHM. I've had three beautiful kids - Noah, Oscar and Molly (NOM, for anyone curious ). Oscar is my rambunctious 2.5 year old. Molly is my sweet, cheeky 8 month old. And Noah, who would be 4, watches over all of us from his seat in the stars ... Aside from motherhood, I love to write fantasy, drink wine, eat chocolate, drive fast cars and practice karate (not necessarily in that order ). I'm married to Andrew, the hardest working dad and my unwavering rock I've always loved making things with my hands, and studied woodworking in senior highschool. It never crossed my mind that I might put those skills to use, nearly 10 years later, making toys for my kids and extending into a small business making them for others. I make all my products in my Brissy backyard, with the kids running wild, and hubby helping when he can. Anyone with little people knows how hard it is to find time for anything, so I may be a little slower to restock/fill orders, but I'm here, plugging away when I can I can't thank you all enough for your support so far, I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with you all. I'll be making another post in the coming days outlining how to purchase etc as I have had a lot of enquiries about that over the last few days. Website is in the making! For now, happy Tuesday! 23.01.2022 BIRDS Meet the newest additions to the bird family - these guys will be joining Mel, Skittle, Cassian and Kirri in the new Australian Bird Collection. Winnie the Wedge Tailed Eagle... Wilson the Willy Wagtail Fred the Fairy Wren Millie the Magpie Kara the Kookaburra and Gideon the Galah These guys will be available individually and in a set to purchase when the restock goes live at 7pm QLD Friday 9th April. Noah was our firstborn, but heartbreakingly, we lost him shortly after birth due to complications with my health in labour. We dubbed him our Shooting Star, and he guides us from his special place in the universe. ... He would be turning 5 this April. I designed this moon and star stacker especially for him. It reminds me of his light, his life, and the all the good that came from knowing him. 11.01.2022 BLANKS I've wanted to provide blanks for sale for a while now (I even have a tab on my website ) but I never quite knew what to make. We've had so many butterflies here lately (laying eggs on my bonsai haha) that I thought I'd have a go with some scrap maple, and oh how I love them! These would make a really gorgeous Mother's Day gift, either gift blank for Mumma to paint herself, or let the kids decorate them for her ... I've been a bit quiet between the mastitis, restock, and my kids coming down with a tummy bug but rest assured I'm on track and so thankful for all your support ... 07.01.2022 Life's funny, but not haha funny Just before the plague sent us into lockdown in March, we had decided it was time to move. We listed our house, but as the weeks progressed, I lost any hope that we would be able to sell. I turned to woodworking to support us staying, and NOM Handcrafted was born! Fast forward to today, and the universe has mysteriously and mercifully lined everything up neatly, and we will be moving in a few short weeks! As a result, I have put my fledg...ling business on hold until we're set up in our new place (with a massive shed! ). All existing orders have been fulfilled and dispatched, though you can still peruse the website. Thank you to all my customers and followers thus far, I can't wait to start making again for you all! 06.01.2022 Annnd we're (nearly) back! Moving is hecking crazy, especially with two small kids. But we're in, we're *mostly* settled, and I'm very ready to start making again. I've spent the last few days playing around with colours and stains, ready to implement them on some new ideas when the workshop finally fires back up. Over the last few weeks, I've thought a lot about how to move forward, and I've decided to make a few changes to the way NOM Handcrafted operates. I'm hoping the...y will mean better quality toys, and less anxiety on my part. I will no longer be taking custom orders. I know this may be disappointing to some, but it's not something I can properly dedicate myself to at this time. I'm hoping to be able to do so in future, but for now the only products I'll be making are what is stocked on my website. More importantly, I'm moving away from 'made to order', over to a set restock. I'll be making products according to my resources and whims, and stocking them on a set date. Product will be limited, so make sure you check back regularly for restock updates. Thanks for sticking with me, I appreciate every one of my customers and followers. I have some big ideas and I hope to share them with you all very soon

It's always a hard time of year but it makes me smile knowing Noah's light continues to shine through you all Today is the day! New products include the Bird Tree and Birds, Stacking Moon and Stars, Trees, Butterfly Blanks (painted versions will come later) and I've added the little campfire since that seemed popular All my other items currently on the website will also be restocked, and I've shuffled the Animals sets around so that there is a distinct birds and mammals set. Also, for every $100 spent you'll receive one of these unique stacking hearts free. Colours will be chosen at random and are all made from offcuts of chunky Hard Maple, so I waste as little as possible. No two are the same!
