14.01.2022 It has been a while since we put a status up - starting in 2013 we have looked at Forgiveness - knowing and then applying. Yesterday (3 Feb 2013) we celebrated the two sacraments - Baptism (Jaydyn) and Lords Supper. It was a great day. We resumed our series on 1 Samuel and discovered the riches of Chapter 9.

10.01.2022 Finishing Haggai tomorrow - In the midst of the shaking, God builds His church.

10.01.2022 1 Samuel 13 - obedience is better than sacrifice. How often have we sacrificed our obedience to the Lord while we panic whether we have done the right action? King Saul panicked as people left him and to impress people he sacrificed the offering. If he had obeyed the Lord, Samuel told him that the Lord would have established Sauls kingdom over Israel for all time. (13:13). This is worth considering when it comes to seeking the Lord and his direction for our lives. Move from Panic to Prayer. It is better to obey than offer sacrifices.

05.01.2022 Easter was amazing down here at Noorat. Celebrated Lord's supper on Easter Sunday - very special.

04.01.2022 We had a great Sunday school concert last Suday with pictures and stories in the local newspapers - getting ready for Christmas day - a day for apologetics I think - consider the similarities of the Gospel writers as different viewpoints if the one action - God becoming Flesh in a humble way.

03.01.2022 Returned from taking campers to PYV summer camp - caught up with many people - looking forward to 2012

02.01.2022 Witnesses are needed to prove that something happened - Christ rose from the dead and many witnesses saw the risen Christ - many spoke with Him and ate meals with him. Many of those same witnesses also saw him ascend to heaven where he sits interceding for us today. Praise God that Christ rose and that He is the Great High Priest.

02.01.2022 Yesterday we had Harvest Thanksgiving. Focus was on how the Lord gives and Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord (Job 1). Australia is a country with many wonderful gifts and treasures - as stewards let us care for and work the ground that the Lord has given to us. Let us honour His name in our country. Yes creation groans - but the Lord is doing mighty work throughout the world. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
