25.01.2022 What’s your favourite photo from show day? We love this classic shot of the Rutter family (Jenny, Kellie and Lyndell). Anyone recognise the clown? We’re collecting your favourite photos from show day to share next weekend on what would have been show day. If you’ve got one to share, put in the comments below or send us a message. #VicAgShowsMemories

18.01.2022 When you can’t stop putting you favourite Stir Crazy cordial in your favourite Jess Fowler Art bag from your favourite show! We love seeing photos like this. It makes our hearts sing and get that little bit more excited for show day in November

18.01.2022 Well, the time has come. Last night, the committee decided there was just too much at risk to hold a show this year and it was in everybody’s interest to cancel our favourite day of the year. Some words below from our President, Monica Heffernan. A huge thank you to all of you for your ongoing support. 20 November 2021 has a good ring to it don’t you think?

18.01.2022 VOTING HAS CLOSED Which Jess Fowler Art design would you like to see on our 2020 bag? To vote, comment Cockatoo or Gum Leaves below (on the original post) or use the poll in our stories here or on Instagram. Voting closes at 5pm on Sunday, 25 October. The most popular drawing will be printed on the front of our special edition #NotAShowBag, which will hopefully be available at The Shed late November. Special thanks to Southwest Imaging & Frames for helping us get these drawings online #SupportLocal

16.01.2022 Usually we’d be in full show preparation mode, counting down the days until the big day. Not this year, but the team at Cobden and Camperdown Community Bank Branch are still hard at work and we couldn’t be happier to again have them on board as platinum sponsors of the show. Here’s a message from Chair, Brooke Love. #SupportOurSponsors

16.01.2022 And the cockatoos have it! Thank you to everyone who voted for their favourite Jess Fowler Art drawing. We think this gorgeous specimen will be right at home on the front of our 2020 Not A Show Bag. We’ll let you know when you can get your hands on one #SupportLocalArtists

16.01.2022 2020 is definitely not the year we’d hoped it’d be and it’s no surprise that many of you have lots of questions about this year’s show. Will it go ahead? Will it run in a different format? Will the horse events go ahead? Right now, we don’t have the answers but we’re still working towards holding a show, step by optimistic step. As each week passes it looks less and less likely that the show will run how we know and love it but what we can tell you is that we’ll always put the safety of our community first and that we’ll keep you up-to-date with any decisions the committee makes about this year’s show. As always, thank you for your support. We wouldn’t have the wonderful show we have without you.

13.01.2022 Anyone else missing seeing our show signs when they’re driving through Noorat? In some ways it doesn’t feel like November without them but the people and tractors that have been whizzing about recently to get this year’s silage done tell another story. There’s another story that has this year remained unchanged and that’s the amazing support we receive from our sponsors. You’ll hear from some of them soon because if there was ever a time to put the spotlight on them, it’s this year! We’d be grateful if you could in return support them in anyway you can #SupportOurSponsors

13.01.2022 It’s your day today. A day to reminisce, a day to be grateful and a day to look forward to again. The heart of our community beats fast and strong and we are so proud to be one small part of it. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. This is for you.

07.01.2022 It took some convincing for life member Paul Grayland to be part of this photo, and that is often the case with volunteers isn’t? Hiding from the limelight but diligently working behind the scenes for months on end. We love this photo for two reasons; it captures what our family show is all about and the spirit in which our community of volunteers rally behind show day to make it the best day possible...every year! We couldn’t think of a better cover image for this year’s show and a solid nod to thank our hundreds of volunteers. There wouldn’t be a show without you and we can’t wait for Saturday, 20 November to roll around #NationalVolunteerWeek #NVW2021

07.01.2022 Congratulations to Monica Heffernan who has this year taken on the role of President. A true stalwart of show day!

06.01.2022 Sunny weather like this reminds us of picnics and picnics spent with family and friends reminds us of the show! We love this photo of the McKinnon family enjoying a picnic at the Noorat Show and now we want to see your favourite photo from show day. It doesn’t matter if it was taken in 2019, 1979 or 1939, we want to see it and if we get enough photos we might put something special together to celebrate on what should have been our show day on 21 November. Share below in the comments or send us a message #VicAgShowsMemories

04.01.2022 When we cancelled this year’s show in July, lots of you asked if we would still be making a bag. At first we said no, then we said maybe and today we’re going to let you in on a little secret. Can you guess what it is? Rex here with the big teeth might give you a clue. All will be revealed this afternoon.

02.01.2022 We are very lucky to call the mount home
