23.01.2022 We did a nine hour trip up to Double Island Point on Saturday. Conditions were great with a light north westerly wind in the morning which backed off to pretty much glass calm conditions. The fishing was good but unfortunately the sharks were very hungry in some spots. We caught grass emperor, snapper, amberjack, tusk fish, northern bluefin tuna, moses perch, frypan snapper, pearl perch and school mackerel. www.fishingnoosa.com.au/bluewater.htm

22.01.2022 Another lovely day here in Noosa. Blue skies over scattered cotton wool cloud. A light 5 to 7 knot north westerly breeze blowing at the river mouth. Little or n...o swell on the bar or in the bay. BOM forecast is for north to north westerly winds 10 to 15 knots, increasing to 15 to 20 knots during the morning then tending north to north easterly 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon. Filmed between 6.20am and 6.30am which was just after a 1.86m high tide. Background Music: 'Lazy Boy Blues'... by Unicorn Heads. www.fishingnoosa.com.au See more

19.01.2022 We did a nine hour trip to Double Island Point on Wednesday. Conditions were surprisingly good after the last few days of south easterlies. We had a light easterly wind for most of the day and little current. We caught snapper, jobfish, tuskfish, spangled emperor and moses perch. The sharks were quite bad at a couple of spots taking some nice fish but that’s fishing. www.fishingnoosa.com.au/bluewater.htm
19.01.2022 We had quite a busy Anzac long weekend with five and seven hour trips to Sunshine and North Reef. The fishing was up and down like a yo-yo with no rhyme or rhythm to the afternoon or morning being better but in general it was quite good. We caught coral trout, school mackerel, grass emperor, tusk fish, kingfish, gold spot cod, Maori cod, longtail tuna, pearl perch and snapper. www.fishingnoosa.com.au/bluewater.htm

18.01.2022 We did a seven hour trip to Sunshine Reef on Sunday. The weather was beautiful for the majority of the trip with little wind and a light current to the south. We caught spotted, school and Spanish mackerel, snapper, yellowtail kingfish, moses perch, grass emperor, tuna and spangled emperor. www.fishingnoosa.com.au/bluewater.htm
17.01.2022 We did a five hour charter to Sunshine Reef on Sunday in near perfect conditions, surprisingly, after Saturday night's crazy weather. We had little wind or swell and a slight current to the south. We caught painted sweetlip, Moses perch, venus tusk fish, coral trout, snapper and grass emperor. www.fishingnoosa.com.au/bluewater.htm
14.01.2022 We’ve been fairly busy the last week. The weather and fishing has been quite good with some signs of the summer pelagics starting to show up. We’ve been having good catches of Moses perch, pearl perch, grass emperor, painted sweetlip, tusk fish and a couple of mahi mahi and small black marlin on our 5 and 7 hour trips. We’ve done a couple of 9hr trips up to Double Island with good catches of Moses perch and nice size tusk fish along with snapper, amberjack, pearl perch, gold band snapper and gold spot cod. www.fishingnoosa.com.au/bluewater.htm
13.01.2022 We did a five hour trip to Halls Reef on Tuesday. Conditions were quite average out to sea with a strong southerly wind but the protection of the headland made the trip possible for some keen anglers. We caught moses perch, painted sweetlip, grass emperor and snapper. You can view the full weekly report here... www.fishingnoosa.com.au/feb0321.htm
13.01.2022 We did a seven hour trip to North Reef on Monday. Conditions were great with a glassy ocean first thing before the light northerly kicked in. We had a slight amount of current to the south that has thankfully taken the coral spawn with it. We caught moses perch, grass emperor, snapper, pearl perch and hussar. www.fishingnoosa.com.au/bluewater.htm
12.01.2022 We did a seven hour trip to North Reef today. Conditions were unreal. We had a light northerly wind and little current. We caught mahi mahi, pearl perch, grass sweetlip, moses perch, snapper and venus tusk fish. www.fishingnoosa.com.au/bluewater.htm
