25.01.2022 We may have just increased our fleet but bookings are really tight for the next 3 months. If you are looking to come to Noosa and want a car let us know ASAP. We have one left for this weekend (June 29-30), only 2 for next weekend and the following week. The second weekend of August is already fully booked but there are a couple of cars available for the following week. And it's a similar story at the beginning of September, just 2 cars left at this stage.... Who said "Buy some more cars". I don't think the bank manager's listening any more. See more

For what we offer, we're pretty sure we have hit the spot on pricing, and if you book on-line there's a further saving. Comparing "apples with apples" - taking into account all add-on fees and the cost of reducing your insurance excess - we are markedly cheaper than Hertz, Avis, Budget and Thrifty and o...ffer similar new, low-mileage vehicles (personally detailed). And we're even on par with some companies that run older, higher-mileage cars with fewer safety features. We're upfront with our pricing - the figure we quote is what you pay and all costs are included. There's no deposit; we charge your credit card the full amount the day we deliver (yes, deliver) the car to you with a receipt with the contract. 19.01.2022 Sneaked one of our new i30s for a few hours (it's now out again) and took Kiwi friends Barb and Al and my Al (it can get confusing) for coffee at Cooroy. Passed the new Copperhead brewery and pub on the way into Cooroy (it looks great and a promising weekend lunch stop) and picked the Mulberry Cafe from a host of others. What a lively little place. Good coffee, too. Where for lunch. Why not the Apollonian? So via Pomona, Cooran (a little detour), and Kin Kin we more or less t...ook the Tourism Noosa-promoted Noosa Country Drive and discovered what a great way visitors to Noosa can enjoy a few hours in one of our cars. It was the first time in a year or two we had been to the Apollonian and it's never looked better. Cold (light, of course, beers), good service and great burgers. The experience was so good we've booked in for the Sunday spit roast in a couple of weeks. Car was fantastic, the SatNav worked perfectly, there was continual phone contact (Telstra has obviously made improvements), and we averaged a miserly 7 litre/100km. 18.01.2022 Happy guests. John McCulloch, Manager of Coral Beach Resort, Noosaville, takes delivery of another new car just added to the Noosa Car Rentals fleet. Once again, the happy guests were Kiwis. The resort is a favourite among Kiwis families, providing large, well-appointed townhouses set in lush, tropical gardens with pools and spas and within walking distance of all the favourite eating spots in Noosaville.

09.01.2022 Welcome to all my new "friends". For months now Mark (Zuckerberg that is) has been trying to cajole me into really getting a part of this Facebook thing by asking me to befriend all sorts of people I either know or "might know." And he keeps reminding me it is months (probably over a year) since I last posted and keeps harassing me to get with it and say something. So I have now merrily accepted all friend invitations (even those I have been declining for months and who, thro...ugh Mark, repeatedly keep asking to be friends whether they know it or not) and plan to start spouting forth. I'm not going to tell you what I had for breakfast, or where I'm going for lunch, or how well I played at golf yesterday (it was actually a great way to ruin a stunning day), but in running around Noosa every day and up and down to the airport I see and hear things. So rather than having nothing to say I may become the Mouse that Roared and throw row a few bricks out there (like the stupid lane markings at the end of Reef Street that let 2 lanes of traffic turn left into one lane at Monks Bridge, and the fact that it's nearly impossible now to find a snack at the airport for under $10 an item) or present a few bouquets (like the fantastic rump steak - Gympie's Nolans I'm told - I had at The Boathouse last week as part of a 2-course $30 special. And all these words and no mention of my new fleet. That will come in later posts when I get them back long enough to grab some shots. PS Don't hesitate to unfriend me; I won't feel hurt or offended; probably relieved that's someone else's life I don't have to worry about! See more

03.01.2022 Now for The Cars. Wow, the latest Hyundai i30 just added to the fleet is a little ripper. New 120kw 2-litre direct injection motor, traditional 6-speed auto, lovely big media screen with SatNav and digital radio, auto lights, cruise control, alloy wheels - and that's the "base" model. It's got more grunt than a Corolla, more luggage space, is quieter on the road and a touch more room in the back. It should be a real worry for Toyota, but the Corolla still has a great feel about it; it's top of the pops in popularity among our customers and the front seats are still among the best you will find.
