16.01.2022 The Noosa National Park Information Hut is staffed by volunteers whose efforts assist Noosa Parks Association fund its Land Acquisition Fund enabling NPA to drive this project which will see the Tewantin National Park expand by an additional 2,400 hectares with the inclusion of Yurol and Ringtail State Forests. At the official signing ceremony Mayor Tony Wellington gave this emotional speech. How lucky we are to have a Mayor with such a passion for the environment and volunteers who give their time to help NPA fund it!

11.01.2022 Quite often, the volunteers at the Information Hut will go for a walk, picking up rubbish and checking that everything is okay. Today, I took a few photos on my way to and from Tea Tree Bay and here are a few. The highlight was of course the koala. Thanks for sharing Lyn.

09.01.2022 The banksias are in flower in the National Park. The best walk to see them is parallel to track No 5 from Parkedge Rd. This skirts the edge of the park through Wallum vegetation.
