23.01.2022 Grave news, dear heathens. Australia Post has escalated its unfair attacks on our religious freedom. In the lastest episode of Australia Post’s discriminatory behaviour towards us, the postal service has accepted our order to print a customised Christian stamp but has refused our other request for a similar design featuring the Noosa Temple of Satan logo. Australia Post gave us no explanation for the rejection of our Satanic logo and the approval of the Christian one.... Our spiritual leader Brother Samael Demo-Gorgon says it is a clear-cut case of religious discrimination. Following the rejection of his previous designs (see our post of last week), Brother Samael suspected that his temple was being unfairly discriminated against. He decided to test two designs the first one with a logo featuring a pentagram for The Noosa Temple of Satan and the second one featuring a cross for a fictitious entity called ‘The Noosa Church of Christ’. This is the fourth Satanic stamp that they have rejected. It’s easier to get a Cartier watch out of Australia Post than a simple Satanic stamp, said Brother Samael. The only conclusion I can draw is that I’ve been discriminated against on the basis of my religion. Brother Samael is calling on Australia’s greatest defender of religious freedom Prime Minister Scott Morrison to intervene and force Australia Post to print our stamp. He is also urging the Australian Christian Lobby, Freedom for Faith and other Christian lobby groups to come to our aid in defence of our religious freedom. As defenders of religious freedom, I’m sure those organisations will be appalled at how we have been treated and will demand that Australia Post print our stamps unless, of course, their previous calls for religious freedom were really just calls for Christian freedom. Hail Scott Morrison! Hail Satan! You can read our full media release here: https://mailchi.mp/3cc70c709bbc/no-stamps-for-satanists

22.01.2022 Another message of encouragement from one of our adoring fans....

20.01.2022 Fellow sinners, you might be surprised to know that our spiritual leader Brother Samael Demo-Gorgon has long been a keen stamp collector! Sadly, these weren't the stamps that he was hoping to get in the mail. We're thinking it might be time to put a hex on Australia Post! What do you think our spell should say? Comment below

18.01.2022 Thanks for the heads up heathens - we have corrected the T-shirt logo position and size on our merchandise page. We have also increased the available colour range. Happy satanic shopping folks. http://noosatos.theprintbar.com

15.01.2022 Here at the Noosa Temple of Satan we have always welcomed everyone and enthusiastically celebrate who you are. Unlike the ACL we look forward to Victoria's upcoming legislation banning religious conversion therapy. https://www.theguardian.com//victoria-to-ban-abhorrent-pra

14.01.2022 Just as Darryl Kerrigan couldn’t have gone far without Dennis Denuto in his mission for a fair go in The Castle, our very own Brother Samael Demo-Gorgon hopes that some good legal support will help Satanists win the day on more than one occasion. The Noosa Temple of Satan is looking for a law firm that would be willing to assist us on a pro-bono basis in our David versus Goliath battles against religious privilege and discrimination of Satanists and other religious and non-re...ligious minorities. Can you help? Send a message to our inbox or email uson [email protected] Teaming up with the Noosa Temple of Satan would be a great opportunity for a law firm to make a name for itself and be a part of ground-breaking legal decisions. We are seeking a progressive law firm that is interested in exploring the boundaries of human rights and anti-discrimination laws in Australia. Suitable candidates must possess the following extra essentials: ‘the vibe’; a working photocopier; a sense of adventure; a willingness to lose any Christian clients they may already have. We have a number of unique legal actions available to us. For example, some of the issues that we’re currently working on are: an action against Australia Post for refusing to print our Satanic stamps; an action against the Brisbane City Council for commencing meetings with a Christian prayer; an action against Pozible for refusing our fund-raising campaign; an action against the Queensland Education Minister Grace Grace for threatening us in relation to our proposal to teach Satanic religious instruction lessons; likely ongoing disputes with the Queensland Education Department as we progress with our program to provide satanic religious instruction classes in state schools; assistance with our future endeavours to register as a provider of chaplaincy services for schools, hospitals, the military and the 2032 Olympic games. Add, yeah, if any of you younger sinners haven’t watched The Castle yet, do yourself a favour. Hail Dennis Denuto! Hail Satan!

06.01.2022 Time and time again, the 'religious freedom' crusaders stay quiet when it comes to supporting the rights of Satanists and other non-Christians. We haven't heard any words of support from the Australian Christian Lobby, Freedom for Faith and other religious lobbyists about the blatant discrimination by Australia Post towards our Satanic stamp designs. Also, we haven't heard anything from them about our efforts to have Satanists also deliver religious instruction in public scho...ol and our calls for the Brisbane City Council to remove the prayer from its meetings and allow all religious and non-religious beliefs to be treated equally. Makes one wonder whether the 'religious freedom’ agenda is for all religious and non-religious groups

01.01.2022 Dear heathens, the Noosa Temple of Satan has formally asked the Brisbane City Council to remove Christian prayers from the opening of council meetings. Last week, Brother Samael Demo-Gorgon wrote a letter to the Chair of Council, Councillor Andrew Wines, to say we would be making a formal complaint under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 to the Queensland Human Rights Commission if the council continued imposing the recital of prayer. Writing on behalf of fellow Satanists and ...non-Christians, our spiritual leader labelled the practice of commencing council meetings with a Christian prayer as a form of discrimination prohibited under Queensland anti-discrimination law. For many non-Christians, the Christian prayer is offensive. It asks for guidance from a God who they are sworn to reject. It implies an allegiance by the city of Brisbane to a God whom they reject, wrote Brother Samael. To acknowledge the existence of, let alone pay respect to (what is in their eyes) a false God strikes at a fundamental belief held by many of Brisbane’s citizens. Accordingly, when the prayer is read, many non-Christians feel a range of unpleasant reactions ranging from a sense of isolation to a strong sense of outrage. Cr Andrew Wines, whose job it is to read out the prayer, thanked Brother Samael for the letter and said he had tasked council officers to look into the matter. Brother Samael told Cr Wines that the only acceptable option left would be to allow 30 seconds of silence so that members could silently pray to their own God or simply reflect on their own conscience. The Noosa Temple of Satan has taken the action after the Brisbane council rejected a petition, signed by hundreds of citizens, calling for the removal of the prayer. Despite 49.8 per cent of citizens in the Brisbane council area being non Christian (according to the 2016 census), Mayor Adrian Schrinner is insisting that council meetings must begin with prayer because it is a long-standing tradition. This is the same mayor who said in a radio interview last year that he would never force his Christian beliefs onto the people of Brisbane because Australia is not a theocracy. We look forward to hearing back from Cr Wines. We would prefer to resolve the matter instead of resorting to the Human Rights Commission. Praise be to Cr Wines! Hail Satan!
