24.01.2022 Permission to Stop Have you ever felt the need to give yourself permission to stop? To allow yourself time and space to reset or re-charge? This should be a pre-requisite for a happy life, not an optional extra.... Life is for living after all, and physical, emotional and spiritual health is key to happiness. I see many men and women in my clinic (mostly parents and grandparents) who spend so much time and energy giving that they forget to replenish and to reclaim their time and space and remember what gives them JOY Take some time today for you. So in the world of being born female things don’t always run smoothly Hormonal fluctuations and symptoms are common from early teens & so often our young girls are placed on the pill to manage everything from acne, mood swings, irregular periods, heavy periods, period pain to anaemia. Wow... seriously!! ... I think as a society we need take a step back and help our young women in a much more holistic way - we need to help them understand the value of nutrition, exercise and movement, relaxation, disconnecting from social media and re-connecting with themselves in this whole equation. The teenage years can be tough- we’ve all been there. Joy. Excitement. Self doubt. Nervousness. Love and Fear.
