24.01.2022 I am proud to announce Noosa Montessori Family Day Care opened its door this week to families on time starting Tuesday 8th of October 2019. We are enjoying our learning play based Montessori activites together. If you need any further information please dont hesitate to phone and I will call you back outside of working hours. Without kindness, caring, justice, reliability, trustworthiness and the many other virtues how can we progress individually or collectively and create peace in the world. These gemstones called virtues are already in all of us and the children just need to know what they are and how to manifest them by showing them and using them wisely in the context of each situation.The Virtues Project has been used successfully with people of all ages and backgrounds all over the world including families and in daycare settings, and has been recognised by the United Nations for contributing to the development of local communities.

08.01.2022 The children found some rocks on my pathway to paint. I follow their interests to promote a happy and fun learning experience. Following the child is key using the Montessori method. They will express their needs that require fulfillment.

08.01.2022 The best carbon filter system is a tree and provides us with oxygen, shade, and so many useful products. Part of the rebuilding process in Australia will be to plant more trees as they give us LIFE.

05.01.2022 Clean water is so precious and we are very lucky living on the Sunshine Coast however other environments are seriously challenged by contaminated water or not enough water. In science we use a water filter designed for children to show them how water is filtered through the different layers. This one in the video is a great idea for people that do a lot of bush walking and for emergencies to change dirty water into clean water to drink. Technology is amazing when used in the right way for the right purposes.
