03.01.2022 Here at the project in Nias. We have built or first sample compost pile from all waste products: pig manure, coconut husk, weeds and grass. Seeing if we can give a value to the manure which currently mostly washes into streams while also providing a low cost alternative to chemical fertiliser. Improved soil health and water quality are long term goals.
