21.01.2022 Today we went from inducting 48 new Australian citizens into our Shire to a wonderful evening at the @noosasurfclub for awards night. Congratulations to our newest Aussies and to our wonderful surf club on a fantastic evening. Today Noosa won the title as Qld’s top tourist town- a lot of the voters talked about the ‘feel’ of our Shire- the spirit it had. Both of today’s events are testament to just that

21.01.2022 Huge shout out to @Patches of Cooroy for organising a wonderful morning tea for @cancercouncil Biggest Morning Tea. A wonderful morning had by all- food and company simply outstanding and brilliant to come together for such an important cause huge thanks too to Colleen from @officeworks Noosaville who so kindly donated her time on behalf of Officeworks who foster community engagement through sending staff out into the community to volunteer at events- what a terrific initiative by one of our local businesses Patches of Cooroy

07.01.2022 So the spirit and ‘feel’ of Noosa Shire continued throughout the weekend. First up Saturday am was the launch of our newest public art in Tewantin- bringing joy to so many of our residents. Two thumbs up for Your Community 4565 for all their hard ensuring that this became a reality. Later that evening it was Peregian’s turn with the final event of their Vilalge Vibes. It certainly was an ‘enchanted evening’ and again, congratulations to Peregian Beach Business Association for all their hard work. Finally today was spent in our Hinterland for the annual Kin Kin Pink Stumps Day. Well done to Kin Kin Community who won the day against Noosa Council! Fantastic community day
