24.01.2022 How many men does it take to bend a piece of steel? At the NMS it takes two to do the work and one supervisor, QA inspector, COVID social distancing monitor, WHS and union shop steward.

21.01.2022 A big thank you to Bunnings Warehouse Noosaville for supporting the Noosa Men's Shed. Also thank you to everyone who enjoyed a Sausage Sizzle from the Noosa Men's Shed.

20.01.2022 Morning tea for the Noosa Men's Shed COVID-19 style raises a couple of concerns. Two of the members appear to be on the same beach by the same tree, obviously not social distancing. Another two members are surrounded by cleaning products, we hope they are not about to follow Donald Trumps suggestions on their use.

19.01.2022 We are all well aware of the current threat from the COVID-19 virus. Based on Government advice and our desire to protect our members the Noosa Mens' Shed will be closed to all but essential activities for the time being. Please monitor our website for the latest updates.

19.01.2022 The Noosa Men's Shed is reopening! Thanks to the hard work of our President Steve and local member Sandy Bolton MP the shed has received the go ahead to open from Tuesday 2nd June. There are conditions of course, see our web page for all the details. https://noosa-mens-shed.org.au

19.01.2022 The Noosa Men's Shed took up a collection during the bush fires to assist the rural brigade volunteers. Rather than add it to other donations it was decided to support a local brigade, in this case the Tinbeerwah & District Rural Fire Brigade. After consultation with the brigade it was agreed a chainsaw would be an appropriate item to donate. Shed president, Steve, presenting the chainsaw to a grateful fire brigade while Des asks if we first sanitised our hands.yes!

16.01.2022 Thanks to Nick Parkyn from Bloom Hearing Specialists Tewantin who gave a presentation on hearing loss and emphasised the importance of looking after the hearing we still have.

15.01.2022 We might be in a dry spell but Gavin and the gardening team have been busy watering and this Bromeliad is showing its appreciation.

11.01.2022 The Noosa Men's Shed team from the Cobbers Shed at the RSPCA Noosa garden and plant sale on Saturday 31 Aug 19. Thank you to RSPCA Noosa and the hard working team from the Cobbers Shed as well as Mike, Gavin and the gardeners.

09.01.2022 We take seriously the quality of anything produced at the Noosa Men's Shed. Here our President Steve conducting quality assurance on the latest batch of beer from the brewing group, supervised by our Master Brewer.

07.01.2022 Excitement at the Men's Shed today, a fully grown & venomous yellow-faced whip snake being relocated by the snake catcher.

02.01.2022 A huge thank you to the Tewantin Noosa Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank for the donation of a compound mitre saw to the Noosa Men's Shed. This will be used in the "Cobbers Shed" which makes a variety of products from recycled materials. The flexibility of this saw will be a great help to those volunteering in the Cobbers Shed. The Tewantin Noosa Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank returns over $700,000 of their profits back to the community and deserves our support. The photo shows Branch Manager Linda with Cobbers Shed stalwart Vern. Thank you Linda.

01.01.2022 Daylight robbery at the Noosa Men's Shed! Early Friday a group of "hooded men" were seen robbing the European bee hives. Thanks to Kevin and Peter, the "hoods", and the rest of the bee keepers who assisted in extracting the honey which will be for sale in the Long Shed. Another example of the diverse activities at the shed that satisfies an area of interest for our members as well as helping cover our costs.
