30.01.2022 From Monday 10 January, we will be reducing our opening times for a short period, hours will be 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 12.00pm on Saturday. 08.01.2022 NOOSA RADIOLOGY TARGETS BREAST CANCER We’re going PINK in October to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and screening in detecting breast cancer. Did you know 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in their lifetime? ... Early detection can boost your chances of surviving breast cancer. Many women have no signs or symptoms. However, some women do and there are things you can look out for. - a new lump in your breast or underarm (armpit) - thickening or swelling of part of your breast - irritation or dimpling of your breast skin - redness or flaky skin in your nipple area or your breast - pulling in of your nipple or pain in your nipple area - nipple discharge other than breast milk - any change in the size or the shape of your breast - pain in any area of your breast Most breast changes are not likely to be breast cancer. However, if you find a change in your breast that’s unusual for you, see your doctor without delay. Even acts you may consider 'insignificant' like eye-rolling, sneering, talking down to or raising your voice at workers can have a major impact on their mental wellbeing. To you, it might be a one-off incident, but they might be treated like this every day. To visit a hospital, you will need to be fully vaccinated and show proof . All patients, including unvaccinated people, will still receive the care they need. There are also exceptions for parents, guardians and carers, end-of-life visits, childbirth, or emergency situations. Be kind to our staff. We are here to help.

25.12.2021 World Radiography Day is celebrated on 8 November each year. The date marks the anniversary of the discovery of x-radiation by Wilhelm Roentgen in 1895. Celebrating medical radiation sciences and the people who make it happen; National Radiographer and Radiation Therapists’ Week (NRRTW) this year runs from Monday 8 November to Sunday 14 November and encompasses World Radiography Day 8 November. NRRTW is a time for medical radiation science professionals to come together and acknowledge the vital work they do on behalf of the health of all Australians.
