23.01.2022 Sara Witcher of Bundaberg took this harrowing photo yesterday, saying: "Swimming out horses today none of the people who owned them were there (they couldn't ge...t across the river), we had 6 boats and heaps of helpers, Elliot saved a foal which was tangled in a tree and whilst doing so got badly kicked, he then swam the first 2 over mostly unassisted. Most of these horses were very hard to catch even though they only had a small island to stand on. Finally got them moving with the help of many people through sunken tractors, implements and what ever else. All these people left what they were doing to help move these horses. 02.01.2022 Meet Ash. This little piglet is doing it tough after a trip to the Cricket yesterday in Brisbane. Police brought him into our care after his terrifying outing y...esterday when he was smuggled into the game by a member of the public. He was severely dehydrated and stressed when he came in last night. He has eaten a little since but his stress level hasn’t improved. As you can see from the picture, he isn't running around like normal pigs do. This is his stress defence mechanism to try to deal with what he has been through. We are hoping with some much needed TLC he will eventually recover and be enjoying life like our other pigs up for adoption at the Wacol centre. Good luck Ash we hope you pull through! See more
