23.01.2022 Saturday 7th November 2020 - 8 starters Wind - Easterly with a hint of meatballs, actually easterly and quite on the nose!! With the rotting algae and a strong incoming tide that didn't help the smaller boats - comment from Petit Bateau Race 9 - 1st Something Offensive... 2nd Farr Out 3rd Gypsy Race 10 - Equal 1st Something Offensive & Gypsy 3rd On the Edge Thank you to our volunteers across all aspects of the day, laying the marks, calculating the results and taking the photos solely by David Keep this week!!

22.01.2022 Wednesday 18th November 2020 A Gusty SSE sail with everybody staying upright this week!! Nice to see another new boat joining the fleet and powering along taking 2nd place. 1st Tagalong... 2nd Transit Lounge 3rd Petit Bateau This week Buoy room and overlap seem to be a talking point!! I'm sure you all know them but here are the rules as a reminder!! https://www.sailing.org//WorldSailingRRS20172020new-[24067 Thanks to Farr Out for the photos and all our wonderful volunteers for keeping our times.

20.01.2022 Wednesday 4th Nov - 16 Starters Winds light to moderate with the tide ripping out Noosa Cup Day won by Farr Out in 1st place... 2nd Champagne Charlie 3rd Charlie Brown A great afternoon on the water as we welcomed the female crew who sailed the club blazer from the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron. The ladies competed in the Women's Keel Boat Regatta at Mooloolabh the previous weekend. Sharing the starboard rules!! It was noted that some who did the wrong thing (no names mentioned) didn't do their penalty turns - let's keep up the good camaraderie hey!! Culture Shock also got a Shock with a wind shift giving Something Offensives a decent lift and their mast hitting the shroud - It was close with SO losing their Windex!! Thank you to our Volunteers and many photographers this week!! David Keep being onshore. Way too many photos for me to edit with such a large contribution so I've posted them all - Enjoy!!

08.01.2022 Saturday 7th November 2020

08.01.2022 Saturday 24th October 2020 9 Starters Races 7 & 8 Wind N shifting NNE 11 kn... Race 7 1st Culture Shock 2nd Something Offensive 3rd Midnight Madness Race 8 1st Culture Shock 2nd Petit Bateau 3rd Farr Out The raging tide was responsible (apparently not the skippers' fault!!) for 3 boats dragging the mark!! Farr Out, Petit Bateau & Dramlover too. Culture Shock & Something Offensive battled upwind but Culture Shock wasn't 'Shocked' by this and maintained the pace in their dirty air, a few shy kites from SO and some great tactics enabled Culture Shock to get ahead!! Race 7 was shortened due to the incoming storm which had some kick to it as we all stayed dry in the bilge waiting for it to pass with a great rainbow afterwards. Volunteers, thank you and thanks to Farr Out for some great pics taken by a mystery photographer!! See you all in a few hours for Wednesday sailing.
