18.01.2022 COOL TIME ON THE LAKE A great week-end for the Noosa Sea Scout family Camp at Lake Cootharaba. Plenty of wind in the sails and smiles on the faces.

12.01.2022 A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR EMERGENCY SERVICE WORKERS AND THE SALVOS, LIONS AND ALL WHO HELPED TO CARE FOR THEM AND THE EVACUEES OVER THE PAST WEEK A particular thanks to Richies Bakery who stayed back on the Friday of the fires to finish our 400 bread rolls for the subsequently cancelled Hill Climb event. Richies then donated the rolls to the Salvos. We donated the rest of the perishables bought for the event to help feed our courageous and committed fire fighters. After being resident at the campground for many years a truck load of our mattresses got their second trip out in two months- helping to make the evacuation centre a little more comfortable.

08.01.2022 HOW TO SUSPEND A SEA SCOUT? Noosaville got a new four span bridge last night.

06.01.2022 THANKS TO THIS GREAT BUNCH OF TRAINEES The Noosa Sea Scouts are two decks better off thanks to this enthusiastic group of trainees. Caught up with them at today...'s awarding of certificates ceremony at the Noosa Community Training Centre. Their work was top class and I'm sure they are ready and raring to go for anyone looking for an apprentice. There are good government incentives available.

05.01.2022 Eight Patrols from Woombye, Nambour, Yandina, Cooroy and Noosa had a great time over the week-end - the video captures some highlights. .

01.01.2022 NOOSA COUNCIL COMMUNITY GRANT & VOLUNTEERS HELPS DRAIN OUR GROUNDS - NOT OUR BANK BALANCE On the week-end we finished off our Noosa Council Community Grant project. We now have three extra tanks to collect roof water, and underground drainage to take excess roof and surface water off the grounds. This is already reducing the flooding of our toilet and shower blocks and make accessing Elystan House (the old Guide Hall) a lot less soggy during rainy periods.... Thanks to all the volunteers including Graham (Fence Construction Services), Peter, Len, Jon, Ian and Keith from our Fellowship and especially Council's Manager of Building and Plumbing Allan Hazell and his mate Brett for putting in the hard yards over a couple of Saturdays.
