12.01.2022 We had a great roll up for the ‘Trailblazer’ Trailcare sessions 40 over both days terrific support for the trail. Three hard working crews managed to get all required work done and the reworked sections will provide some sweet riding. A big thanks to all who came along and sweated it out so all Wooroi riders can enjoy fun times on a new trail experience. A huge shout out to Pete from Trailworx, who had two machines working at times, yesterday and this morning. Without Pe...te’s wise trail eye and machine skill we would not have been able to get so much done in such a short time. Also a special thanks to Pete’s son Josh (Friday) and Jez (5am Saturday!!) who both helped out operating the second digger good work guys. With the likelihood of rain later today or tonight, the condition of newly worked sections will determine when the trail is re-opened so watch here for that news. Please note there have been some changed alignments and new features added, so a sighting run or two is advised. Please remember, if the signs are up the trail is still closed.
12.01.2022 Happy riding conditions for this mornings club ride in Wooroi. There was mud, excursion into the unknown, dog poo, broken spokes, jumps and heaps of good times. See you next time peeps. Ian G.

07.01.2022 So news just in, from the hardworking trail crew... ‘Trailblazer has reopened!’ It has some new features and been rerouted in sections; so caution and a sighting lap or two will be required...... Once it’s had wheels across it and firms up, some rework will be required. (So watch for temporary closures here...). Get out there and enjoy it, when you can!! Cheers Marty
06.01.2022 Trailblazer Trailcare Update!! Starting Friday October 30, Saturday Oct 31 & Sunday November 1 (maybe). One of our most popular trails needs some loving and attention so come along and help return it to tip top condition.... Trailblazer will be closed from 6 am on Friday. It will re-open after the trailcare sessions have been completed AND trail condition permits. This means if the new work is too soft to ride the trail will remain closed until the reworked surface has settled. If the bunting and signs are up the trail is closed! Due to COVID (and heavy rain in the case the Milkmaid refresh back in August), this will be our first Trailcare session for the year lets make it a good one. TRAILCARE PROGRAM Friday 30th Trailworx will be operating a machine on the trail all day. A small trailcare crew will begin work from 9am. If you can help on Friday that would be great. Please note: The Sunday session will depend on how much machine work gets done Friday. On Friday night a post will be put up here and on Wooroi Noosa Mtb Trail Care pages confirming if Sunday will be needed. If you are thinking of coming along Sunday to help, then please check Facebook first. Saturday 31st Trailcare volunteers to meet at top of Trailblazer ready to roll for 7am. Session end should be around 10.30 or so. Depending on numbers we will split into two or three groups. Sunday 1st If confirmed as happening on Friday night, then as per Saturday above. Sign In Sheets There will be sign in sheets available to record some basic information including start and finish times for each person present. Please complete these as it helps the club keep track of volunteer hours. What to bring Heaps of energy,a hat, solid shoes/boots, sunscreen, plenty to drink, snacks, gloves and any of the following hand tools, leaf rakes, fire rakes, garden rakes, shovels and hand compactors This will be a COVID safe event, so remember to observe social distancing. Cheers Marty

Send in your best photo, we will create an album, person with the most votes wins a trail blazers shirt and sock combo! One week to get your photos in! #mustbewooroi DM your pics to the club!
02.01.2022 Trailblazer Trail Update... So based on what was done today, both by machine and a good sized volunteer crew; there will be no call for a trail-care session on Sunday. There is, however, still a lot to get done tomorrow; so a good roll up will be a big help.... We will split into three groups, to work on different sections of the trail. Please bring the usual; gloves, hat, water and your favourite trail tool. Remember to sign on; this will be a COVID safe session. So remember your social distancing... Please be ready to go at the top of Trailblazer for 7am... Cheers Marty
01.01.2022 A great turnout of riders for Saturday’s trailcare on Snake and Bloodwood Trails. . Over 30 riders of all ages came together to give the trails a clean up. Works included clearing drains, trimming back foliage, raking the trail surface clean, refreshing corners & jumps along with repairing water damage. . I went out for some laps on sat arvo and apart from a few soft corners both trails are running really nice. With better vision, safer jumps, better speed and all the gnarl...y bits still left in the trails . Well done to all the volunteers! Cheers Jimmy
