25.01.2022 We are uber excited about this next exhibitor, because not only are the wines vegan, they are organic, preservative-free and they come from a small vineyard in Nanango, which is over near Kingaroy. A local wine-maker coming to share his vegan wine with us - it will be a good day! Bob will be having taste testings and selling bottles of wine on the day. His range is - verdelho, merlot and cabernet. Checkout Bob's video as he explains why his wine is vegan - ... http://bit.ly/2ELWq4O (see more about vegan wine below) You may also be interested to know that Bob's Estate has accommodation on his vineyard, if you are looking for a little weekend get away. Uncle Bob's Cottage https://www.unclebobsestate.com/wine If you you would like to read more about his vineyard - http://highlifemagazine.net/organic-original/ Barnivore: Vegan-Friendly Booze Guide explains that - Whilst wine may not have any animal ingredients, when filtering the drinks prior to bottling, companies can use things like isinglass (from fish bladder,) gelatin, egg whites, and sea shells, among other things. These products grab onto the impurities and make it easier to catch them in the filters, though there are many animal-free alternatives in use.

20.01.2022 In case you were wondering: We are on baby!

20.01.2022 The Noosa Vegan Festival has something for your houndies as well! There well be a stall by local dog trainer Faith from Bark Busters Sunshine Coast, who has been training and advocating for animals for two decades. We think she might be bringing a pup or two! If you would like some training or behavioural advice for your dog - go talk to Faith. No help for cats sorry. The Friends of the Hound - Greyhound Adoption Group stall will be popular as they will have some gorgeous gre...yhounds to say hi to, plus a range of fabulous dog products like coats & collars, and all that great stuff. Mish Mutts will be selling baked dog treats for your loved one. They sounds so good, you could probably eat them yourself. And if you buy a Festival showbags for $20, you will get many samples and products including a sample of dry dog food from Veganpet (no can food). Your dogs don't have to be vegan to eat, it also good to give as part of their diet. To read more about their products please go to their website - https://veganpet.com.au/articles/ The InnerOrigin stall will also have some companion animal products, amongst their vegan grocery items, so look out for them as well. Can dogs come to the Festival? Technically they can come to the outdoor areas, but the venue has areas indoors so you won't be able to listen to the speakers with your dog. It will also be noisy and crowded, so many dogs might get scared. We know the odd dog, who is coming because they are traveling, but we would recommend you leave your doggie at home and just buy a gift for them! And if you are having cravings, you need to visit the Bark Buster stall or Friends of the Hound stall.
