21.01.2022 OUR AUCTION BOARD by @fuyusurfboards is a speed Pin, modelled on a board shaped under the SHANE label in 1967/68. The original surfboard had been purchased by my brother-in-law’s family and it is still sitting on the wardrobe in their house at Crescent Head. It had a unique glass job that looked like a slice of watermelon which has remained the name of this board some fifty two years later. The original board was shaped in Crescent Head with that wave in mind. It suits a long... reeling point break and would be challenging to take out in a heavy beach break. This Transition Era board has incorporated aspects of both the Australian vee bottom and Hawaiian influences promoted by Dick Brewer and co. Ticket sales close Monday so make sure you grab one.
