25.01.2022 The owners of this Coaster didnt want anything of the bus steel body work to be visible from the inside to create a tiny house feel. I made a split headboard with 2 small windows with a solid timber sill. One part is fixed onto the door, covering everything when the door is shut. The underside of the bunk bed still needs to be lined.

25.01.2022 Some more progress pics of Noq Noq's current Coaster Fit Out. The benchtop is made out of solid Ash and treated with tung oil. There will be a few more Ash parts ( shelving over the kitchen, Steps to the bunk bed and fold out table. It will give a beautiful contrast with the Artic White.

24.01.2022 Im busy setting up the new workshop in Tingalpa. Looking forward to doing full fit outs and flatpack development from this great new location.

23.01.2022 Working hard on this conversion. There are a few extras on this Coaster; Electric awning, Basin, Seitz S7 Windows, Oven Grill with rangehood, Motorhome Door and a Daewoo build in mini washingmachine. Is coming together nicely and I plan to hand it over in 3 to 4 weeks.

23.01.2022 The custom shower tray is ready for fibreglassing. 2 bifold doors can close off the shower area and fold away ( hiding the toilet) when not in use. We will use an Airhead compost toilet.

22.01.2022 I have replaced the sliding plug door and sliding windows for a motorhome door with fly/security screens and double glazed windows with integrated blinds/flyscreens. It will be interesting to see how much weight we have saved. The aluminium composite panels are a lot lighter than the original windows.

22.01.2022 I have just finished designing this custom layout for a client with a very comfortable king size bed at the back, This Coaster will be registered as a 4 seater with 2 traveling seats at the front which is also a dinette. Shower / Toilet / Fridge and we still have room for a spacious wardrobe. With overhead cupboards all around this bus will have heaps of storage. Finish in Stylelite Arctic Velvet and Nebula Benchtops. It will be a good looking bus !

18.01.2022 As quite a few people are following the innovative "walk through shower" I am happy to show the progress I have made. This Coaster is a one off a kind all together but the shower has been the most challenging part for sure. I am still waiting on some rare earth magnets and strips to make the doors lock in place but apart from that it is pretty much finished. The Airhead toilet has a very small footprint and can be enclosed by 1 set of bi fold doors. The passage to the right can be closed off by a 2nd set of bi fold doors which fold away nicely when not in use. For the floor of the shower tray we are looking at some sort of decking product. Water will be drained underneath by 4 waste plugs which drain in a sump box to be pumped into the grey water tank.

18.01.2022 The solar rack fitted perfectly onto the surfboard rack. 4 x Q cell 325 Watt panels will generate enough power to run the AC and other appliances.

14.01.2022 Some more pictures of the rest of the bus. Twin waste bin pull out, drawers under bed. With a pull out lounge/bed, double bed and bunk ,this bus sleeps 4 and has 4 seatbelted seats. A split system aircon is powered by 1200 Watt solar and Lithium batteries. Steve Langshore has installed a neat system that allows the owners to be fully self contained. There is still a bit of work left to do but we are getting there.

14.01.2022 The Hiace will have a 80 L Evakool Elite Fridge Freezer. The short bunk on the passenger side has a flip up extension and the aisle between the bunks can be filled in to make a double bed. During the day both bunks are lounges with a backrest (not drawn)

12.01.2022 I am assembling the interior modules and one of them is this sofa / bed. During the day it is a 500 mm wide sofa, creating a wide aisle. By simply pulling it out you can create a single bed of 800 mm wide.

10.01.2022 Fitting a domestic split system AC in a Coaster is not impossible but due to the limited space certainly a challenge! Today I lined the inside box with sound deadener and cut out the openings for the vents. Its all ready for Steve Langshore to do a test run on Wednesday. It should run nicely with plenty of airflow underneath the floor.

08.01.2022 Since we are neighbours with Enerdrive's head office here in Tingalpa it's only logical to use these good quality components in our fitouts. I especially like the ePro battery monitor. It's a stylish little unit that gives you all the info you need.

07.01.2022 I am developing a flat pack interior kit for Import Hi-aces. These vehicles will be imported by Custom Coaster Conversions and together with the Noq Noq Kit they will make a great campervan. Watch this space.

05.01.2022 We shipped this Flat Pack kit to Steve in Sydney and within a week it looked like this! Good job Steve ! looking forward to see the finished product.

05.01.2022 Overhead cabinets always need a bit of creativity to find a method to fit them. For this Hi ace fitout I made a little mock up section to see if it will work. The finished product will have a rounded edge ( no head bumping) and concealed hinges. I will start using the new model on the Coasters as well.

05.01.2022 The Hi ace interior is nearly finished. It is very satisfying to see the the CAD design realised in something you can actually touch and feel. Im quite happy with the new soft rounded corners. It will prevent damage over time to cabinetry ( and users)

04.01.2022 The last Coaster Flatpack kit of 2019 just arrived from the factory in our warehouse. This one will be shipped to Tasmania.

04.01.2022 Not many small fit out companies use 3D modeling in their production process. At Noq Noq we use this powerful tool all the time. It eliminates unforseen problems during the build and as a customer you can see what to expect. This customer wanted a Daewoo Mini washing machine integrated in his Coaster Conversion. He chose Noq Noq to do the fit out because we were able to show him how we would do it.

04.01.2022 These are a new model overhead cabinets for Toyota Coasters. I have given it a lot of thought and tried them out in this fit out Im currently doing. I still need to decide what handles/locks and stays work best but design wise I think these are a winner. Soft corners are kind for your head and different color combos ( in this case Tassy Oak and Stylelite Arctic White offer a wide variety of styles. They are not production ready yet but I will aim to have them available soon in DIY kitform.

03.01.2022 All Coaster motorhomes are unique but this one will be extra special. With the space saving shower / toilet in the entrance, sunk in domestic AC, 4 x 325 W solar panel, surfboard roof rack, clever pull out sofa and so much more innovative features this will be the ultimate Coaster motorhome. Keep an eye on this place to follow the progress.
