24.01.2022 From NSW to Lebanon with love. A week after the horrific blast you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

23.01.2022 With great sorrow and sadness, we mourn the loss of a former founding member of Nor Serount Dance Group - Raffi Demirjian. Raffi’s sudden and unexpected death has deeply saddened our community. We pass on our condolences to his wife Liana, children Lia, Ara and Levon. His mother Zarouhi and brothers Vatche, Manoug, Sevag and their families.... The funeral service will be held on Monday, 20th of July 10am, at the Armenian Apostolic Church of Holy Resurrection, Chatswood. Church attendance based on current restrictions is limited to 70. This has already been reserved to close family members and friends. As a result, only a limited number of people can attend by staying outside. If you are attending and staying outside the church, please observe 1.5m social distancing. The Church Council is trying to avoid unnecessary heavy fines. Your cooperation is much appreciated. At the conclusion of the church service, the cortege will proceed to Macquarie Park Cemetery, corner of Delhi and Plassey Roads, Macquarie Park, Armenian Lawn Section. More people can attend the cemetery from around 11am. Following the burial, the family will accept condolences at the function room of Basils Seafood Restaurant, Ground Floor, 58-62 Delhi Road, Macquarie Park. Capacity: 180 people If you intend or would like to attend the burial or 'Hokesourj' (wake), please contact Avo Topouzian 0414 800 339 or Annie Abejian 0405 274 274 to register your name and telephone number (Covid requirement). Condolences are taken by the family at the mother's residence: Mrs Zarouhi Demirjian - 7/33-35 Webb Street, North Parramatta. Note: Based on a commonly agreed proposal between the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party, Armenian 'Nor Serount' Cultural Association, Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) and AGBU Alexander Primary School, mourners, friends, members or parents who are willing to make donations in lieu of flowers, it will be redirected to the family of the deceased with the list of the names and amount.

21.01.2022 For over a month now, my friends and fellow Armenians have been under constant shelling in their homes and cities in Artsakh region by Azerbaijan army. I check ...the news on daily basis and except for the first few days there is little to no serious coverage of this humanitarian catastrophe in the mainstream news outlets. The world is wrestling with Covid, my fellow Americans are busy with elections and it is such a convenient time for the extremists to pick the ethnic cleansing of my nation up from where they left off a hundred years ago, under the guise of a territorial conflict. We made this video hoping that some conscious individuals out there will learn about this growing tragedy, which is silently unfolding under heavy media blackout and will spread the word about it.
