25.01.2022 Nordic Walking Proficiency Course on Mornington Peninsula 4 sessions course. Over 4 weeks ( extended to 5 weeks if a session has to be cancelled due to weather). When : Monday 5.15 to 6.15pm, starting 16th of November 2020 ... Participants: Maximum 10 (+ instructor). You must be able to walk without aid for 400 metres. Hi Maree and Patrick, Its been a very long time since I discovered Nordic Walking, when you held introductory classes near the Botanical Gardens in Melbourne (yes, THAT long ago)! And I regret to say, over the years my walking eventually fell by the wayside for numerous reasons, primarily due to unexpected health and resulting mobility issues. ... However...fast forward to the unfortunate COVID shutdown, when - searching for an alternative exercise to just walking - I re-discovered my wonderful One Stop walking poles (that I bought from you guys!) and decided to take them for a stroll. That was six weeks ago and Ive been using them for my daily walk since! I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed rediscovering the merits of Nordic Walking, and I just wanted to thank you both again for introducing me to it all those years ago - I plan to continue with my walking every day from now on! I am still on your newsletter email list, and very glad Nordic Academy continues to do so well. I hope you and your family are all keeping healthy and safe during this challenging time, and that you get back for a visit to Austria when travel returns to normal.
