Nordon are very proud to support school kids by supplying the components for their Track Weight Tensioning System for miniature F1 race cars. F1 in Schools program is run by Re-Engineering Australia Foundation Ltd (REA) and based on the design of miniature F1 race cars.

24.01.2022 We had the pleasure of attending a Manufacturing Networking event last night run by The Department of State Development, Manufacturing, infrastructure & Planning. The event was hosted by Mick and Sonya, owners of Tubeworx in Clontarf. The night included a tour of their new factory, which is very impressive! Manufacturing in QLD is thriving and we are proud to support other Australian manufacturers.

10.01.2022 YES WE ARE STILL OPEN AND RUNNING AT FULL CAPACITY! As you know the situation regarding COVID-19 has evolved significantly over the past few weeks. At Nordon Cylinders our COVID-19 Response Team is taking every precaution to manage the risks associated with COVID-19 to protect our employees, clients, and supply partners. We are also working diligently to minimise supply chain... disruptions, to ensure that we can remain in a business as usual mode. Manufacturing Operations: Our manufacturing facility continues to operate at 100% capacity. We have implemented various measures to protect the health and safety of our employees including shift separation and disinfecting in between every shift. We are working to ensure business continuity into the future and have placed various orders for business critical materials and consumables to ensure we can manufacture into the future. At this time COVID-19 has no effect on our deliveries, we will let you know if this changes. Sales Operations: Our sales teams continue to be fully operational. Our staff are available to answer phone calls and emails, in the normal mode of business. However; to protect the health of our employees and customers, for the foreseeable future we are limiting in person contact with our customers, to business critical contact only. We ask that no visitors come to site unless they have a confirmed appointment. Where in person contact is required our team will utilise the Australian Government Department of Health recommendations regarding social distancing including no shaking of hands, maintaining 1.5mt distance at all time with frequent hand sanitisation. This is a much unknown situation for us all, we are continuing to plan and work with the government guidelines to protect our team and business from this terrible outbreak. We highly recommend that you review your cylinder needs for the coming months and place your orders and inquiries as soon as you possibly can, as product and people shortages may come into play. 06.01.2022 Nordon Cylinders is proud to have the most modern equipped cylinder manufacturing plant in Australia. This includes our Tube Cell, which is busy working 16 hours a day. This cell makes our cylinder tubes from sizes of 1.5 bore x 186mm long to 5 bore x 2,000mm long, incorporating turning the tube along with welding the ports and base mount. It has three robot cells working in conjunction with each other with 7 computers in total running this cell.
