But like so many events and activities in 2020, the main Show in Rawson Hall has been cancelled due to Covid regulations. 02.01.2022 At 11 o’clock on the 11th day of November in 1918 the guns fell silent. On this day and on ANZAC Day each year, we acknowledge those who sacrificed their tomorrows for our today. "In 1914, when the First World War began, there were about 800 people living on the island. Seventy-seven Islanders went overseas to fight.
