15.01.2022 'Cheeky' was halfback for the Hounds during the 1960s. He holds the honour of the Hounds first ever 'Best & Fairest' Award in 1964. Before '64 only Best Back and Best Forward were awarded. He captained Normanby in 1964 & 1965. He also picked up the Best & Fairest Award in 1966. 'Cheeky' is now a regular bowler with Red Hill Community Sports Club.

11.01.2022 The Hounds have undergone vast change in the past decade from being a predominantly 1-2 male team club based out of 105 Arthur Terrace to now playing in a semi professional competition, having a womens and over 35s, securing a lease with our Junior club the Souths Graceville Hounds JRLFC and we will next season also field u20's. To ensure the Hounds continue to be a dominant and strong club both on and off the field, we will be holding a strategic planning meeting later in t...he year to ensure the best possible experience for our members and community. Date TBC. Do you have suggestions for events, development, player welfare, game days etc? We want to hear from you. If you have been involved with the hounds, whether as a life member, current or ex player/coach/support staff/committee member/sponsor/supporter etc, we would value your input. 10.01.2022 Following the results of yesterday’s games, all 3 of the Hounds Men's teams were knocked out of their respective Finals Campaigns. As our Women’s team finished outside of the Top 4, they will also miss out on the Finals this season. Our Presentation Night will be held at the Normanby Hotel on Saturday 31st October. More details will be posted on our Facebook page in the coming weeks.
