25.01.2022 Mont St Michel yesterday morning at -5C.

21.01.2022 Snow has come to our beautiful market town of Villedieu les Poeles. NormandieFoodie just wants to get back #normandiefoodie #ilovefrance #iwannagoback

21.01.2022 NormandieFoodie had a planned tour to Villers Brettoneaux for Anzac Day which was cancelled due to Covid19. Hopefully restrictions are lifted in time to enable a tour to the wonderful memorial for the next service at VB in 2021. For now, how Aussies at the Embassy in Paris remembered.

21.01.2022 This dairy is very close to La Fromentale. Visits can be arranged for tastings and purchases. Apologies that there is no translation available. Normandie Foodie is hopeful that with a vaccine being imminent that tours will resume in September 2021. ... If you are thinking of being first on the bus please message me! Cordialement Nola

20.01.2022 Beautiful Mont St Michel under snow recently. Maybe next year again???

20.01.2022 All of this a short drive from La Fromentale. We'll do it again some6soon!

19.01.2022 A very interesting article written on the coincidence? of the 7 monasteries in Syria, Italy, France, England and Ireland and including Mont St Michel which line up geographically on a map. Talk of Knights Templar, think of Villedieu les Poeles and Les Chevaliers de Malta based there and founded during the Crusades, and it's all lots of coincidence. Come to Normandy with NormandieFoodie and find out more!

19.01.2022 A typical winter dish in Normandie Pot au Feu. A rich beef stew made using shin beef to get the bone and marrow. Supermarches (supermarkets) in France sell a specific vegetable and herb pack to make this dish. Sorry there is no translate button but the app Linguee is a great translator if you are keen to replicate the dish. Happy New Year all you French food and history buffs! Look out for some special tours on offer this coming French Spring from NormandieFoodie.

14.01.2022 Come on some of you who have visited La Fromentale and Mont St Michel with NormandieFoodie. How about a recommendation about your stay and NormandieFoodie's services. Make a note in the comments of this post.

12.01.2022 Chateau Lassay within one hour of La Fromentale. Stunning place, can't wait for France to solve their Covid issues to be able to visit. Normandie Foodie starting to get impatient now! @normandyfoodie #normandiefoodie #holidaysinnormandie #ilove france #iwannagoback

08.01.2022 Most of our guests visit Mont St Michel and Avranches during their stay. We need to find time to visit the historical manuscripts that are are now held in the Scriptorium in Avranches.

07.01.2022 Carnivale is on in Granville this week. Train loads of people come from Paris for the festivities and everyone dresses up and lets their hair down. The French people love to party!

02.01.2022 The inside story on making gin at Chateau Coquerel. We've loved our tastings of Calvados and gin at the distillery.

01.01.2022 Thomas grew up in Normandie. He has visited schools in the region talking about his first journey to the ISS. He's off again soon!
