18.01.2022 Our Premier League team continues their 2020 season in the Battle of the Birds against Hills Hawks FC this Saturday at Normanhurst Oval. Get down and show your socially distant support as they aim to continue their good start to the season.

13.01.2022 6 POINT SATURDAY Yes, you read that right - the boys are back in the driving seat after a 6 point shutout Saturday against North Epping Rangers. Ressies wasted no time in getting the ball in the back of the net through the high flying Reece Roberts (rock) climbing over the defenders to head neatly into the side netting. Next goal was through our AA recruit Harry McAllister who broke two defenders ankles and slotted a left footed shot from the 18 yard box to make it 2-0. C...oming out at half time 2 up, confidence was through the roof. With that confidence, Alex Smeallie wanted to see blood and finished two opportunities to make it 4-0. Smeallie was smiley - confirmed! Although we couldn’t play at the fortress, the first grade boys aren’t shy of playing some quality football on a synthetic pitch - and that they did! 2020 has been a very weird year and nothing can confirm that more than Hayden Krha scoring his 3rd goal of the season through a nicely struck half volley - 1-0! Through a bit of one touch football up top NER had no choice but to foul to get the ball. Little did they know Dylan Hoods addiction with scoring free kicks! Even though he prefers scoring from further out, Dylan shrugged his shoulders and hit the ball in the back of the net with the force of a Kent Murphy dinger - Hepatitis C-ya later! Normo closed out the game with a scoreless yet dominate second half confirming the 6 point Saturday! There it is! 6 point shutout Saturday - back to the Bluey - pint, pint, pint, vodka solo, Sofi, old pub! see you at Eastwood Oval this Saturday!

09.01.2022 As the boys went to the car park that is LH Waud, hopes were high for some points against West Ryde Rovers. Reserve Grade were all guns blazing coming out of the huddle as Maxi and Benny Trinder were causing havoc for WRR’s backline. That duo eventually broke through as the Taxi was blatantly taken down in the box for Captain Ben Trinder to slot it into the bottom left corner. Normo defence were strong with Sebby in the engine room making sure everything went to plan. The boy...s claimed the 3 points with a convincing 1-0 win - onto the next! First Grade can’t decide whether they want to score early or concede early - on this occasion they decided to concede two early soft goals. The boys were stunned. Knowing full well they were still in the game, the boys pushed on in the second half looking for goals. And goals came through the most unlikely of goalscorers, Hayden Krha. The stat man got his head on the end of the worlds longest throw in by Dan Lockwood. Not long later Hayden found himself one-on-one with the keeper to which he made no mistake. The game ended at 2-2 with the boys unlucky not to get 3 points. The boys are back at Normanhurst Oval this Saturday against North Epping Ranger. 1 and 3 - you know the drill!

05.01.2022 Bit of rain? No worries! The boys are braving the elements at Pennant Hills Oval tomorrow against North Epping Rangers! Come on down from 1pm to get your football fix this weekend!

04.01.2022 The Battle of the Birds always provides an entertaining day of football and this week was no different. Reserve grade were hungry for points after a few difficult weeks. The boys matched the physicality of a much older Hawks team and had their fair share of chances early. A cheap turn over in the midfield and a simple through ball had their striker one-on-one with Connor in goals and made no mistake. The boys kept fighting on and the inability to be clinical proved critical a...s the game ended 1-0. The first grade boys had a game plan and looked like they had it down packed from the start. Simon Ward opened his account early by intercepting a defensive pass and slotting it past the keeper from 20 years, 1-0! A couple of minutes later Normo were rewarded a penalty and after a miss opportunity against WPH, Chris Bourke made no mistake this time banging it into the top left corner, 2-0! End of story... or so we hoped. The boys then fell asleep for the remaining 70 minutes which resulted in 5 unanswered goals for Hills Hawks. An extremely disappointing day for the Eagles! In the meantime go to our Instagram to watch Bourkey’s penalty until we claim some points back this Saturday against West Ryde Rovers at LH Waud. @normofcprems

03.01.2022 ROUND 7 RESULTS As the boys went down to the swamp that is Eastwood Oval, they knew it was going to be a scrap as the sand was laid in the goal mouth. Reserves hungry for more points shocked STA early with Schmelzy shooting with his left foot from beyond the 18 yards box to open the game - can that man be stopped!? The boys were looking on top until a STA attack broke away and evened things up. STA changed the mood in the second half scoring a header off a set piece, 2-1. ...The dagger came through an own goal from an unidentified centre back concluding the game with a 3-1 loss. In a 3rd vs 4th match up, first grade were looking to leap themselves up the ladder against STA. Things turned on it’s head drastically as the boys saw themselves down 3 goals inside 15 minutes after an own goal, defensive error and poorly marked corner. At about the 30 minute mark the guys remembered they were playing a football game and started creating chances. Second half was as if two completely different teams were on the pitch. Normo dominated the second half with a nicely finished goal from Reece Roberts and a volley from centre back Chris Bourke which put the boys back in with a sniff. Unfortunately, the 3 goal head start NMH gave away early was too much and the boys fell short losing 3-2. Want entertaining football? Then you’d want to be at Normo Oval this Saturday from 1pm to see the good guys take on Penno - it’d be rude not to! Follow us on Instagram @normofcprems to see some goals!
