16.01.2022 Statement on COVID-19 Having received an information update from Synod, Normanhurst Uniting Church has taken the incredibly difficult decision to suspend all Worship Services and Church Activities for Community groups within our premises until further notice. We made the decision to put the health and safety of our Congregation, Community and Ministry Agents first. Church Council together with our Ministry Team are investigating ways of providing Worship & other reflection an...d fellowship options. We will also be working with our Pastoral Care team to continue to provide Pastoral Care to our Congregation and Community. Please bear with us as our team navigates this unprecedented time and finds pathways to assist our Congregation & Community during this time. We will continue to receive direction from our Presbytery and Synod and will endeavour to keep our Congregation and Community advised. Further changes to our protocols will be considered as Government and Synod Guidelines are updated.

15.01.2022 We'll be starting our confirmation classes next month. Confirmation is the confirming of the promises made when we were baptised. It is a way of standing up and publically confirming our faith. If you are interested in taking the class, or would like some more information, you can ask Ruth or David, and we would be happy to have a chat!
