I love you love watermelon" 3 HUGE WATERMELONS were devoured today as we chilled in our splash pools and lapped up our last day at Normanton House for the year. Such a perfect day to enjoy some sun, fruit, swimming & ice blocks together! Next week is our Annual Christmas Market Day, so get excited, bring your purse and come along to our main fundraiser for the year & do some Christmas Shopping! See you all next week! Kylie x

23.01.2022 Lollypops, colouring in, baby goats, playing peek-a-boo & friends. a fabulous start to the first day of Spring! We also had a special guest - Jess from Rescueblue donated her time today to come and give some amazing tips on paediatric first aid, based on her wealth of knowledge as a current paramedic. Jess teaches small groups of parents in depth first aid if anyone wants to know more. Wear your old clothes next week, as the paints and glitter are coming out! Kylie x

14.01.2022 It’s not every day that we have a famous namesake grace us at Playgroup, but this week it was Dolly Parton... the sheep! What a hoot she was! Inspecting everyone’s bags and lunchboxes! It seems like jam sandwiches and mandarins are a sheep’s favourite foods... according to Dolly! We had such a great day creating our slithering snake craft and enjoying the time we have to catch up with all our friends! See you all next week, as we build The Sydney Harbour Bridge. Kylie x

13.01.2022 Clothes are all the more appealing when they are free!!! And free clothes were aplenty yesterday at our annual clothes swap! Hope you all took home some great items! It is always such a fun event for our families! The leftover items are being donated on to Neighbours Aid. A big welcome to our 5 new families who joined us yesterday, hope you had a beautiful morning with us! Yes, it is that sad time again that we break for 2 weeks for School Holidays, but we will be back for more fun, laughs & adventures next Term on the 6th October. The "Little Aid Workshop" covers the following topics The crucial steps to basic life support... How to manage severe bleeding Head injuries Identifying the symptoms of meningococcal Croup Fever and febrile convulsions Anaphylaxis and Epipen use Burns Choking CPR (the various techniques used for a baby, toddler and adult) Question time (Which is encouraged!) 03.01.2022 There was a new kid on the block today Ringo!! The adorable 1 week old baby goat stole hearts today as he & his bestie Gilbert showed off their crazy jumps & smooched everyone! We are blessed to have this space at Normanton House that we can enjoy growing & playing with our visiting furry friends. Today we made shooting rockets that kinda didn’t really shoot up in the air as we had hoped, but they were still fun to make! I am not sure if the parents or the kids are enjoying our craft sessions more? Next week we have a special guest Jess from Rescueblue is going to give us a 20min talk on paediatric first-aid and how to prevent burns & drowning around the home.
