25.01.2022 The Coaches' Association's school holiday cricket clinic at Mark Taylor Oval, Waitara on 2-3 October is now SOLD OUT (70+ players). Thanks for the wonderful re...sponse and early registrations. There are still plenty of spots available for our second clinic at George Thornton Reserve, WPH, on 8-9 October. This will also be an excellent clinic, as the facilities at GTR are great, with a centre-wicket pitch, two ovals, two nets, easy parking, etc. Book now for this GTR clinic - bit.ly/CA-clinics-Oct-19

24.01.2022 Great news! Work has begun on the Normo Nets, and on time despite the weather! Our major sponsor VicWay has done a great job with laying the slab, and the owner Wayne himself is on the tools making sure its all good - thanks again for doing such a great job. We cant wait to see it finished!

24.01.2022 This weekend marked the end of the regular season. In the juniors, our U11s finished top of the table and will play in the semi-finals next weekend. In the seniors, A2's finished minor premiers and together with B2's we will have two senior teams in the semis. C3 finished strong despite missing on the finals this year defending a total of 151. Craig Woods and son Ben opened with a 40 run partnership. Ditzy took 3 wickets and Nik Kabariya bowled very tight 1 for 17 off 15.... Then the 3 U15/16 came on and cleaned up other team, Hugo 1-17 off 6, Luke 2-3 and Ben 1-3. B2's were 8/56 but managed to recover with a 79 run partnership between Naish Somaiya (55 runs) and Cam Allen (34 runs) to get the team to 151. Unfortunately, Kissing Point chased down the total. A2's first week was washed out but they only needed 2 hours in the second week to demolish West Pennant Hills Blue for a total of only 35 runs. In return, Normo chased down the total with the loss of only 2 wickets. Conor Laidlaw took 5/20 and Marty Day took 3/14. Go Normo for the semi's next week.

23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, a quick note to say that rego's are now open. Please jump onto MyCricket to register for the upcoming season and make this season another success for Normo.

22.01.2022 The Coaches' Association (https://www.facebook.com/HKHDCCA/) has scheduled another two school holiday cricket clinics in October 2019 at Mark Taylor Oval, Waita...ra; and George Thornton Reserve, WPH. HKHDCCA is an outstanding not-for-profit sporting association that was established in 2010 (http://bit.ly/CA-AR-19) and is led by Rod Hokin, a Cricket Australia, High Performance (Level 3) accredited Head Coach. During the past decade, HKHDCCA has conducted a total of 50 school holiday clinics for children aged from 6 - 14 of all standards, with heavily subsidised fees and excellent feedback from players and their parents. 20.01.2022 A friendly reminder that registrations are open for the 2020/2021 season. You can register from the link on the club website. Season 2019/2020 was a great season for the Club and we're hoping you can come back and help us make 2020/2021 even better - and hit COVID for a six!

19.01.2022 Great start to the season with the Seniors winning in the 1st grade T20 match against St Ives. Michael Devitt (pictured) stared with the bat scoring an unbeaten 102 not out. Handy contributions by Luke Colquhoun and Jordan Hayes as well got the team to 2/191. Then with the ball Shayanthan Rajayogan (Owen) and Thomas Xavier demolished St Ives with 5/9 and 4/17 respectively. ... Go Normo!!

18.01.2022 Our president Justin Gross leading the example, in his rush to get to seniors training has tripped on a crack on the pitch, which has ended in surgery so has retired hurt for a couple of days but will be back to the crease shortly.

18.01.2022 Another reminder about the girls cricket holiday program which takes place at Normo oval next Monday (13 Jan)

18.01.2022 Another great knock by Michael Devitt in A2 for Normo today scoring 113 out of team score 202 against WPHC blue. This adds to his already stellar season scoring a T20 century also.

18.01.2022 What can truly be described as a great team effort saw the Normanhurst-Warrawee U11s win their Grand Final. Batting first Normanhurst-Warrawee posted a modest total being bowled out in the 28th over for 93. Tight bowling, superb fielding and always believing they could do it and showing great support for one another saw Normanhurst restrict the opposition to just 75.

18.01.2022 The junior's first co-op session for the season.

18.01.2022 Congratulations to Normo’s under 13 girls who have gone back to back and won the premiership for the second time. What a great team effort. Congratulations girls! Go Normo!!

17.01.2022 Two of Normo's under 9's Master Blasters Teams, the Reds and the Blacks, faced off against each other on the weekend. The competition was fierce, but everyone enjoyed themselves and we are pretty sure the game must have been a draw!

17.01.2022 Well, the weather prevented cricket to be played anywhere on the weekend. For the A2s this means, as they finished second, they go through to the Grand Final to be played next weekend. Details to be posted when we get them. For the C3s, as they finished 3rd and didn't get a result against Mount Colah, who finished 2nd , they do not progress. ... The C3s were a good mix of Normo juniors playing their first or second year of senior cricket and some older more experienced players. Some father/son combinations too! The younger players to no doubt move up the grades. The older players.... just hoping to get in one more season. Always one more season! In the Juniors, the Under 12 Blacks were to play WPHC Blue in the Grand Final rematch. The washout is a disappointing end to an otherwise successful season. As Normo finished 2nd to WPHC Blue, WPHC Blue are declared the premiers. The U-12 Black team pictured.

17.01.2022 Save the date. The Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Monday 20 July, 2020 at 7:30 PM. If you plan to attend can you please notify Justin at the email address [email protected]. 17.01.2022 U16 players Blake Harris and Will McCarroll starred on the weekend with 50 runs and 5/24 respectively. Also, all the senior teams won this round and are sitting in the top 4 for each grade. Go Normo!

16.01.2022 Today 2 juniors took there first seniors wicket this match Hugo Di Veroli 1-24 off 11 overs, Ben Woods 2-29 off 5 overs. Unfortunately it was a rain affected round. We look forward to continuing the good form next round. Go Normo!

16.01.2022 3 great wins for Normo this round with centuries in all grades for the first time. In B grade it was Wayne Slawski and Karthik Ramesh who tonned up while also being involved in a record 2nd wicket partnership for Normo. Also in B grade, Mitchell Davidson got a 4-for to help secure the win late on the second day. In C grade Craig Woods also smashed a quickfire century while also being involved in a 110 run stand with Chris Fitzpatrick. Hugo Di Veroli also hit a well crafted 70... while Lachlan Bailey got 6/36. In A grade Michael Devitt continued his strong form by getting his second century for the season.

14.01.2022 Great weekend for Normo. The A2 team beat the top of the table Berowra to now go into first place. Jordy Hayes starred bringing up his 50 with a six off the last ball of the innings. Connor Laidlaw then took 3 wickets to seal the win. In B2, Wayne Slawski hit 70 not out. Avneet Bhele (pictured) got hit but managed to keep batting and this helped the team get over the line to win the match. C3 beat the top of the table, Kissing Point, by rolling them for only 66. Normo had... 3 U15/16 players combining to take 7/27. Hugo 3/11, Luke 2/5 and Ben 2/11. Hopefully all the senior teams can continue the good form into the finals.

13.01.2022 Great weekend for Normo with wins to both the U11 boys and the U13 girls!! The U11 games was a rain-reduced semi final match at Normanhurt Oval. The team bowled and fielded well to restrict Hornsby Gold to 115 off 29 overs. In reply the Normanhurst boys held their nerve to chase the runs down with a nail biting one over to spare. A great team win! The U13 girls restricted Castle Hill to 5/100. Normanhurst responded with 0/101 to win by 10 wickets!!... In the seniors, A2 is in commanding position against Hornsby on day 1 at 6/221 after being 3/26. Luke Colquhoun and Jordy Hayes combined for a 97 run partnership. Jordy finished with 73. In B2's, the match is delicately poised with Normo 2/15 chasing the Sydney Lions total of 206. Normo did well to restrict the opposition after they were 1/96. Will McCarroll was the star with 6/49.

13.01.2022 Good start for Normo in A2s for the batsmen with Michael Devitt (pictured) starring with the bat scoring an unbeaten hundred with Marty Day providing good support with 69.

13.01.2022 Good win for B Reserve Grade yesterday. The team chased down WPH's total of 126 with an over to spare. Rob Jones stared with a solid 67 to help get Normo over the line.

13.01.2022 First father and son match for the Fitzpatrick family on the weekend. Matthew and his Dad Chris.

12.01.2022 YOUNG GUNS SHOWING THE WAY for Normo C grade. Week one Normo C Grade dismissed Berowra for 135 with Lachie Bailey(left) giving a masterclass of spin bowling and finishing with 5-21. Normo then limped to 86, with Berowra then going back in to try and complete an outright win, but Henry Gross(right) steamed in taking 5-8 off 8 overs to help dismiss them for 81. Needing 131 for an unlikely win of 28 overs, Ben Woods(30) and Matt Fitzpatrick(45) had an opening stand of 74 to set up Lachie (30no) and Henry(19no) to bring home the outright win with 2 balls to spare to complete a great win for Normo.
