17.01.2022 The 40 Tonne steel spiral stair structure is the largest ever fabricated in Australia, it was fabricated and transported in 9 sections. All Full penetration But...t welds joining the sections were carried out on site and 100% ultrasonically tested. No fails! The suspension bridges, hanging from 30 mm Dia stainless steel rods were fabricated in 56 sections, painted in 2 tones and filled with concrete prior to lifting into position between the finished lift shaft cores. A complicated lifting process was designed and developed for this goal. Next,sand smooth, finish and paint the stair in high gloss white. See more

11.01.2022 Normoyle Enmgineering was fortunate enough to be able to tender for and win a number of works packages in the recently completed Dr Chau Chak Wing Business school at the Universtty of Technology Sydney. Our involvement in this project started with an interest in the Mirror finished stainles steel stair which was eventually awarded to another Company then fabricated in China and assembled here. Normoyle was awarded the structural steel contract for the building which involve...d the fabrication installation and finishing of all internal stairs and the steel structural support for the Oval Room, a 3 floor 150 Tonne Glue Laminated Timber lecture theatre. After subsequent tender meetings with Lend Lease and discussion on methodology and price, Normoyle was awarded the contract to manufacture install and fitout this impressive centrepiece to the project. 08.01.2022 I am Proud to announce that after 2 years of design and development, Normoyle Engineering have signed with Lend Lease as a Contractor Partner, to construct the complex 3 dimensional Facade of the Darling Exchange ''Nest" on the site of the the old entertainment centre in Darling Harbour Sydney. Thanks to the team and for the confidence displayed by Lend Lease project staff in awarding us this milestone project.
