18.01.2022 The epic tour of four American states including 10 flights in total has come to an end as we land back on home soil. What an amazing three weeks we had. We met and networked with lots of great people at the WETT Show. One thing we took away from it though was that Australia leads the way in portable toilets. We think our experience is bad sometimes but using their portable toilets on a tour and realising that you can see directly into the bowl (and I mean directly!) which we... had heard of but the straight drop term is exactly that! Gives it a whole new meaning! Followed by realising that there is no freshwater flush and to top the experience off, no sink to wash your hands!!! After walking the entire Expo we came to realise that all brands are the same and Australia is one of only countries that requires fresh water flush. With the added bonus of every toilet having a urinal in the corner at the perfect height for kids to touch (see photos). On the bright side though their trailer restrooms are something else. The attention to detail is impressive and we have come away with lots of great ideas for our Fabrications side of our business. Some of the vacuum trucks on display blew our mind! All in all we loved our time in America but theres no place quite like home

COVID-19 you might have caused a massive upheaval in Norquips plans for 2020 but you havent managed to cancel this event (albeit very different to years gone by). 11.01.2022 NorQuip Group services and supplies a comprehensive range of quality portable amenities and temporary fencing solutions to a wide range of clients throughout North Queensland. We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, practical labourer to join our team. Tasks will include the day-to-day delivery, set-up, dismantle and collection of temporary fencing, crowd control barrier fencing and pool fencing to various work sites, building sites, private and public & special events.... This is a hands-on role most suitable for someone who takes pride in delivering high quality service and products. Local area knowledge is an advantage and a willingness to work some weekends is needed. The Position: This is a casual position with the potential to become permanent full time based in Townsville. The right person will meet the following criteria: Forklift High Risk Work Licence and forklift experience General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) White card Safe vehicle loading, unloading and securing techniques Safe manual handling techniques Good driving record Enthusiasm for Company representation and willingness to promote the company Clean & tidy appearance Great work ethic Good communication skills Ability to achieve a high standard of customer service expectations. Willingness to complete necessary paperwork Forklift licence and MR licence would be preferred but not essential A reasonable level of physical fitness is required for the delivery, set-up, dismantle and collection of Temporary Fencing. It is essential that the right person can use mapping for local street addresses e.g google maps proficiently. No chance of us slowing down though, our Fabrications are in full swing building (more) toilet trailers, a plant trailer and our newest addition to the fleet is getting a brand new stainless steel tray and all the fruit ready to hit the streets as our own custom built service truck...watch this space as it comes to life

01.01.2022 Thanks to The Cathedral School of St Anne & St James - Townsville for having us today. Play equipment, eating areas, railings, water bubblers and outdoor seating have been cleaned and sanitised using our new machine that operates on high heat (130 degrees) with no chemicals required. Bring on Monday when the Junior School playgrounds reopen
