23.01.2022 Hi Merry Christmas to all. Try and be early tomorrow muster will be at 08:30 so if you want to warm up I suggest you come at 08:00. The course has been set for a Shotgun start. We will be using one range IBO format using 11 ring and one range ASA format using 12 and 14 rings. Both ranges will be WALKBACK. Name of the game is to have fun. 23.01.2022 GOOOOOOD afternoon archers, Just a reminder that we have a working bee tomorrow starting around 8-830am and that ALL ranges will be closed until we are done. Also, it's great to see so many people signing in or at least trying (if you're having trouble just rattle my cage loudly or call on the club number and ill come down to help) BUT it would be good if everyone can sign out as well when done. ... Last but not least, if you're coming out to the working bee and have a whipper snipper ore similar and would be happy doing some tidying up around the place that would be great. If you have a medium sized chainsaw, then our paper range captain would like to see you lol. Not sure what else needs doing but ill try to get a list up soon. Jeff (wombat)

23.01.2022 GOOOOOOD EARLY morning archers, 3D shoot this weekend so a little help Saturday would be nice. I believe it will start around 2ish on Saturday to set targets so if we could get a few helpers that would be great. Sunday starts 730am you can not go on ranges until you have signed on and paid your fee. Don't forget you make your own teams of 3 or more, so if you don't have a team before you start I suggest you turn up a bit earlier to see if you can join a group that's going ou...t. Please no more than 5 in a team and no less than 3. If you will be wanting lunch please pay when you pay your shoot fees so we don't have waste. Anyone not fitting eg: carbon arrows, metal riser, can still shoot in non competitive carbon cup. The courses are challenging but fair with a maximum of 25 Yards. Plenty of novelty events. 15.01.2022 New shirts are available to buy $40 per shirt. I have one already and to me they are a much better shirt to wear in my opinion. They are a lighter material and I think the committee has done a great job in the design and getting sponsors to make them more affordable for the next round we order. My only complaint is there isn't any pink lol.... Jeff (wombat)

15.01.2022 GOOOOOOD afternoon archers, Unfortunately this is a serious post so please read the entire thing. We the committee have been notified about people playing pick a spot (Pick a spot is where you are shooting further back than the furthest peg or stepping out of the shooting line to take your shot) on red and white ranges as well as others shooting in a cross trajectory on the practice butts. We as a committee and a club can not allow this to continue as is seen as dangerous to... everyone at the club. Therefore we have decided to put out our trail cameras on both ranges to try and solve who is doing it and then the following actions will take place. 1st warning will incur a 1 month ban from all club activities including all practice and any club shoots. 2nd warning will incur a 3 month ban from all club activities including all practice and any club shoots. 3rd and final warning will not be a warning as it will incur termination from the club and a letter of your termination and reason to 3DAAA and they may terminate your membership with them as well but that will be up to them. If you require a shot longer than what we have on the practice butts then there has been a point raised that we could set up A target across the road straight up the first drive track with a couple of distance markers for those who feel it necessary to shoot over 55m on the practice butts. I would also like to add that the longest 3DAAA shoot to my knowledge is 50 yards or 45.72m and i believe that we are only allowed pins up to 50 yards to shoot at their competitions. I may be wrong about the allowed pin range but we do not shoot over 50 yards at our shoots. Please if you are going to respond to this post , then do not abuse the committee or we will ban you from the page. Be courteous and we will do the same. Jeff (Wombat)

12.01.2022 On behalf of the committee I would like to inform everyone that construction on the practice range upgrade will start next week. They are doing earthworks then they will pour the concrete then 3 weeks after that the construction of the seated areas will be done. Earthworks will commence next week and that for the next 2 months the practice range will be unavailable periodically. ... I will let you know when they will be working on the construction as soon as I find out. We may put a few butts in a different area for a little while to keep everyone shooting. Jeff (wombat)

I hope everyone had a great weekend even though you may not have been able to get out here to shoot some arrows. I was astounded to have only 3 people out here and that was a family of 3 and that means everyone took the 3 day lockdown very seriously so i would take this opportunity to thank you all....
