16.01.2022 ***UPDATE*** From the powers that be in regards to MAACA and where things are at. "Just to let every one know that we are currently working on a number of possibilities for this season. We are building a number of possible fixture scenarios based on different commencement dates. We are also looking at a modified, shortened season as well and round robin carnival type competition.... Every possibility at the moment is up for discussion. Like other Associations we have to be guided by Cricket Victoria and the decisions they make about Community cricket. Hopefully there will be a season of some sort." Please keep an eye on this page as we will be giving updates as to our programs and competitions. #GoNorf

16.01.2022 Round 2 RESULTS: Round 2 saw us travel to West Meadows CC to battle it out between the two newcomers of the MAACA.. North's first win!!! Dadadada North won the toss and chose to bat.... We got off to a flyer with Massarotti retiring on 42 and Kenyon out for 34..a couple of quick wickets saw our two debutants in Dave Jenkins, 21, and Ben Everall, 28, come to the crease to steady the ship, both retiring which is a great effort!! Our innings ending at 5/158 off 20 A shout out to the bowlers from West Meadows, who toiled hard and were very talented!! After the break West Meadows kicked off their innings aggressively, putting us on the back foot! We had to work hard and bowl well, with not many chances given we were capable of keeping the opposition to 5/121.. Shout out to all our bowlers who did very well, our wicket takers being, Ward, Kenyon, Brian, Everall and Smith all taking one each.. Well done to West Meadows CC who were a solid outfit but great club off the ground as well. They did a fantastic job!!! Lastly, a BIG thank you to Mark Prebble, Theo Arnold and Sam Belden who showed great Sportsmanship in filling in numbers for West Meadows and playing the day for them. That's what MAACA is all about!!

15.01.2022 Hi Northies, Merry Xmas and New Year to you all. I hope everyone is refreshed and ready for the rest of our season. Training resumes this Wednesday, 6th of January @ Northern Oval 2... From 5:30pm onwards. Please be at the ground and ready to go before 5:30 as we have a lot to go through. A bus is sorted for our side who is travelling to West Meadows for this Sunday's game, the only people that can or are required to travel to the game or on the bus are those that are playing in the division 1 side on Sunday. More details will be explained on Wednesday night at training. See you there!

11.01.2022 NORTH BALLARAT MAACA EXPRESSION OF INTEREST The North Ballarat Cricket Club are proud to announce that we have registered a side in the Melbourne All Abilities Cricket Association. We will be competing in the MAACA as of this season, 2020/21.... North Ballarat will be hosting try outs for our inaugural MAACA side and if you are eligible to the bottom criteria then we would be happy to see you come along to training and have a go!! ( Dates to be confirmed when Covid 19 Restrictions are updated ) CRITERIA: - An IQ of 75 or less. (IF you want to progress further to State Try outs) - You must hold a Disability/Pension Card. - You must have an Intellectual Disability.
