24.01.2022 The AFL Grand Final is coming to North Balwyn Bowls Club. Be part of a great day with bowls from 11:30am to 1:30pm and then get ready for the big game with gourmet footy food. ........ and the game will be on the BIG screen. There will be prizes to be won with footy sweeps and a bowls comp at half time. Only $15 for the day or $8 for just the footy. All are welcome both bowlers and non bowlers. 19.01.2022 We cant believe that summer pennant is almost here. Our opening day is next Saturday August 23 from 12:30pm. Looking forward to seeing all the Club members there next week.

13.01.2022 Victoria win back to back National Bowlers Arm Tournament The National titles were held at Beresfield Bowls Club this week over three days between Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. Day 1 was Fours, Day 2 Pairs and Day 3 Triples and Singles. Bowls Victoria won the National titles with 60 points followed by New South Wales on 35 and South Australia on 23.... North Balwyn Bowls Club member Stephen Coles had a great tournament skipping the fours to two victories from two games, skipping the pairs to two wins from two games and two wins from two games in singles. Stephen has said that he was wrapped with Victorias back to back National titles and his form over the three days .... well done Victoria.
11.01.2022 Project 5% is well underway .... our training sessions are: MONDAYS - 2.30 to 4.00pm FRIDAYS - 2.30 to 4.00pm SUNDAYS - 10.00 to 11.30am A 5% improvement is 9 shots per game for a team, which gives a better opportunity to win the close games and increase the shots on our other wins.....
05.01.2022 Bruce Hexter (President) accepted and did the ASL (Motor Neurone) Challenge. He then set the challenge to Paul Amos, Ron Reed and Stephen Coles to accept the challenge. Stephen Coles has now challenged Bruce to get a minimum $500 from the Club members to be donated to the Dementia Research Foundation of Australia ..... and Stephen will do the Cold Beer challenge .... ... what this u ask? 4 stubbies of Crown Lager followed by a cleansing bucket of iced water. So if you would like to donate to the Dementia Research Foundation, open your wallets and be at the Club this Saturday after bowls.
