23.01.2022 Another day hard at it and we are getting the border tiles around the pool down now.

23.01.2022 This landing needed attention. The painted boards were removed and new Merbau hardwood installed. Joists were cleaned and filled. Rubber joist protection was added. In 3 months we will add Decking Oil and it will be ready for another 15 years of use.

20.01.2022 Cracked and in need of attention this 15mm compressed cement sheet was removed and replaced. This allowed us to inspect the joists for damage. They were in perfect order. The joins were sealed and then a cement based waterproof membrane was applied. Its now ready for the next step.



19.01.2022 Is a dog chewing the edge of your deck and timber features? This may just be the answer. I added 40x40 Aluminium angle and that should deter the hound!

13.01.2022 Step right up! Yes these new stair treads installed on these old stringers adds new life, value & longevity to the balcony stairs. Each tread is hand planned, sanded and edges beveled for a clean and safe stair tread. They can be oiled or painted to suit. Now sit back and enjoy.

12.01.2022 Cut concrete, jack hammer out concrete. Cut out the wood rot and fit a new stirrup to the original post. Add super strength concrete and let cure. Remove prop after 48 hours and you have a wood rot problem solved.

01.01.2022 This stair landing had the decking boards replaced about 3 months ago and it was necessary to let the tannins escape from the timber prior to oiling the timber. Two coats of Intergrain in natural tint should keep it looking like new for 12 months. Note: Merbau decking needs to be re treated every 12 months to maintain its luster and integrity.

01.01.2022 North Windows as they are called here. They face North capturing the sun in its arc across the sky. The sills were rotten and windows needed to be removed and new timber installed. The effort is worth the reward. This should last another 50 years.
