25.01.2022 It is with a very heavy heart we write this today. Sunday afternoon Jamie Bird was in a fatal car crash. He sadly passed away. This news has left our whole community in shock. ... Jamie was a man who knew so many, spoke to everyone and was highly respected by those he met during his life. Jamie, you will be sadly missed, you definitely left your mark on this world. We send our love and strength to Stephenie, Cailia, Harry & Eddie at this time.

21.01.2022 Jamie Bird’s funeral will be held at Albany Creek - Memorial Park Lakeview Chapel at 12.30pm on Friday 6th July. All welcome. Stephenie and family would also love you to join them after the funeral to celebrate Jamie’s life at St Paul’s Junior School, Attunga Street for afternoon tea and a casual game of Cricket. PLEASE BRING A PLATE TO SHARE.

09.01.2022 Hi all, a friend has kindly let 4BC radio know of Jamie’s death. He remembers listening to him when Ray Hadley interviewed Eddie and Jamie about Loud Shirt day in 2016. Not sure if family and friends would want to listen or not. Ray Hadley morning show is on 4BC between 9am and noon. Kylie
