20.01.2022 Emotion: A word that is more relevant now than what it might have been in the past. Not seeing our friends or family, not going out, uncertainties, all create different emotions.... The word EMOTION can be broken down into 2 parts. There is the E which stands for energy, And Motion which means to move or movement. Motion and energy change our Emotion Understanding this is really important now more than ever, at a time where we feel that our movement is being restricted. Understanding what you can do from the comfort of your small apartment, will have a positive influence on how you respond to the restrictions that have been put in place. Focused breathing isn't just about resetting the mind, when you break it down, we are expanding our lungs, our diaphragm and rib cage. We are increasing the circulation of oxygen and minerals and proteins throughout the body. These movements, both conscious and subconscious all work towards bringing positive energy to ourselves. Standing up tall is another easy motion that can change your emotion. Right now we know we are limited to one hour of exercise per day, feel comfortable knowing that you do not have to use the full hour. Focus on 10 minutes blocks. These 10 minutes aren't for getting fitter or to start working on your 6 pack. It's about revitalising our energy and emotion Ten minutes of getting outside, even if that is just to your balcony, or going for a walk around your block, put a raincoat on and take an umbrella. Your nervous system is stimulated, which assists your subconscious to changes from a fight or flight mentality to rest and recover. Pay attention to the noise, the wind, the cold. Breathe. All these stimuli go towards calming the nervous system down If you are feeling unproductive, have a shower. The action of standing up, getting into the shower, the feeling of hot water as it hits our bodies, and finally the act of getting dressed. If there is one simple message that you can take away from this, look forward to your 10-minute blocks where you can move, get up and do something that is not getting you ahead of your emails. Shift your energy, shift your motion, and it will go a long way to keeping your emotion in check. Tal - Trademark Therapy Summary of an Emma Murray interview

15.01.2022 ROUND 8 PREVIEW vs Boroondara-Carey Eagles Football Club SENIORS: our biggest match of the season. Defence vs Attack. Clean sheets vs goals. It's going to be a beauty. Carey have conceded a mere 2 goals so far this season, while NCFC have scored an incredible 18 from the first 7 games of the season. Carey have scored 13, while NCFC have conceded 11.We're in a for beauty, don't miss out. RESERVES: after a disappointing 3-3 draw last week, NCFC will be looking to go one better against second placed Carey. Several squad changes were made, so if the boys can tighten up at the back, they will be well on the road to victory.

05.01.2022 ROUND 9 PREVIEW vs Doncaster Rovers SC SENIORS Last time we met: DRSC 3 def. NCMFC 1 (A.Cohen). Our senior boys will be looking to get back to their winning ways after a disappointing 2-1 loss to top-side Carey last week. Sitting as the highest-scoring team in the league, NCMFC will look to take out some of their frustration on 10th-placed Doncaster who have shipped 21 goals in the first 8 games. An impressive 4-1 defeat of Mooroolbark last week shows they will be up for a fi...ght, so we should be in for a hard-fought contest. RESERVES Last time we met: DRSC 3 def. NCMFC 0 Despite putting in some solid bit-part performances this season, our boys have struggled to put together 90 minute matches. Coming up against 5th placed Doncaster, this week is as good as any to start. We welcome back some real quality into the side this week, so the Ressie boys will be looking to notch their second win of the season at home.

04.01.2022 Tuesday/Thursday 3rd/5th Training times will be: 7:45pm to 9:30pm... Caulfield Park Pitch 3 (Inkerman St Side)

04.01.2022 ROUND 10 vs Peninsula Strikers SENIORS PREVIEW Last time they met: NCFC 1 def by. PS 3 (scorer: D. Sacks) PREVIEW:... 3rd vs 5th. Both sides desperate for the victory, with 3 points going towards a promotion race. The winner of this match will go equal second in what is becoming an incredibly tight league. NCFC are coming off the back of a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Doncaster, while PS made easy work of Mooroolbark winning 4-1. There should be plenty of goals in this one with both sides coming into the match as the highest scorers in the league, both scoring 21 in their first 9 fixtures. NC have conceded 14 while PS have conceded 16. It may be a home match for PS, but NCFC are coming for the points. RESERVES PREVIEW Last time they met: NC 1 - 1 PS (scorer: P. Miller) PREVIEW: NC notched their second win of the season and moved up to 7th - just 2 placed below PS who have a 4-2-3 record. Our boys will be looking to continue their climb up the ladder.
