25.01.2022 North Central Locksmiths has been monitoring the situation with COVID-19 Coronavirus. We are following the advice made available by the World Health Organisation, the Australian Government, and their agencies. We are taking steps to minimise the risk of our staff and clients being exposed to the COVID-19 Coronavirus. These steps focus on hygiene and social distancing and include the following practices:... A request to our suppliers and industry representatives not to call into the shop unless absolutely necessary, and not without contacting us prior to calling. The provision of hand sanitising dispensers and disposable gloves in the workshop, the offices, the trade counter, the service vehicles, and other company vehicles. The instigation of daily cleaning and sanitising processes for the office, workshop and all vehicles. The situation with COVID-19 Coronavirus continues to change rapidly, and North Central Locksmiths will continue to monitor and to rely on the advice provided by the Who Health Organisation, the Australian Government, and their agencies. Continuity of Service North Central Locksmiths will continue to service our clients. We have contingency plans in place that will allow us to service our clients in the event of reduced staffing numbers as well as a partial or full shutdown. These plans include engaging the services of other accredited Master Locksmiths within the MLAA network of security professionals, allowing service technicians to work from their vehicles without needing to call into base, and allowing back end staff to work remotely.

23.01.2022 More magnificent silo art to discover... We moved onto Horsham, Victoria to spend a couple of days and also catch up with Tim Batch's Locksmiths. We visited Halls Gap, Victoria on the day of total fire ban and it was packed. The Information Centre advised against driving to the lookout, as they were concerned in the event of something happening. There’s only one way in and out, so we had a pleasant drive to Dunkeld, Victoria where we had lunch. Then it was back to Horsham fo...r dinner with the Batchs at a little pub that I can’t even pronounce let alone spell. The next day we headed for home, stopping over at Ballan, Victoria to break up the trip. #SiloTrip2019

22.01.2022 The owner of this Ford was whitewater kayaking on the Delatite River at Mirimbah and lost his only key in the river! Tom to the rescue. Much to the relief of our kayaker, Tom was able to cut and diagnostically program two replacement keys (one spare ). #happycustomer #carkeys
21.01.2022 We settled into a park at Warracknabeal, Victoria (thankfully the air con worked well), then headed off to Patchewollock, Victoria to start our silo tour. You have to admire some of these small communities for their grit, determination and creativity. Giving up is just not an option. (Some of the pics may not be brilliant -- the sun wasn't in an ideal position.) #SiloTrip2019

14.01.2022 Can you believe Christmas is almost upon us? It's been a super busy year for Tom and the team, but one of the advantages of Tom's job is that in his travels he gets to see lots of interesting things. He's often in a rush, but on a recent trip to South Australia, Tom took time out to stop at #Coonalpyn and snap a few photos of these amazing silo artworks by Guido van Helten. The story behind the murals is equally interesting: https://www.abc.net.au//coonalpyn-silo-artist-guid/8380546
14.01.2022 This vehicle's access codes weren’t on the dealer's data base so they couldn’t provide a spare key. We were able to access and provide a spare after market key. Another happy customer! #happycustomer
14.01.2022 Tom is already for work on tomorrow/Wednesday 10th January. If you’ve lost your keys or just need a spare come in and see Tom or Gayle.
12.01.2022 The owner of this Audi A6 locked his keys in the boot, something that is easily done. No problem. Tom to the rescue. Result: one satisfied (and relieved) customer. #happycustomer #carkeys
11.01.2022 Gayle and I took time out after Christmas for a well earned break. After a relaxing few days in Molesworth, we packed up the van and headed for Sea Lake to spen...d New Year with our youngest daughter. Along the way, we stopped at Wycheproof Victoria (which according to their Facebook page is "Home of the smallest mountain in the world"). The place next to bakery has some amazing sculptures crafted from railway ties and old farm machinery. What's on in Sea Lake... In Sea Lake, a group of locals banded together and bought the old Royal Hotel, Sea Lake - Top Pub, which had closed down, and are restoring it to its former glory. They hope to get the liquor license by the end of February, so will be up and running very soon. The salt lake is also a very popular destination with Chinese tourists. The mural is on the side of the Woomelang General Store & Cafe Stay tuned. Next stop Warracknabeal... #SiloTrip2019

02.01.2022 Deadlines or the occasional day with competing demands can sometimes mean we can’t stick to our normal working hours. It’s when these long hours become the norm... rather than the exception that it can negatively impact our health. Tomorrow is Go Home on Time Day, and it's a great excuse to not only leave when you're supposed to but to also have a think about what you can do along with your manager and your workplace to get out the door on time consistently. 01.01.2022 Due to major issues with the NBN migration of our Telstra service we have been without our landlines since Monday 5 August. After many hours to Telstra services we have managed to have our landline diverted to our mobile. We will still be able to receive calls on 03 5799 1911. In our latest communication with Telstra this morning it would appear we can expect to be without phones till sometime week ending 25 August. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
