22.01.2022 The committee has decided to cut back on meetings in the cooler months due to a lack of activity from members and animals. As a result of this there will be no June meeting this Friday night. Please spread the word to anyone planning on attending. Next meeting will be held on July the 7th.

21.01.2022 Tomorrow nights meeting (3/8/18) will be a trivia night for a bit of fun. Teams will be made up on the night and prizes will be given out. The theme will be Australian reptile species hope to see plenty of people there!

15.01.2022 For our upcoming meeting (7/7/17) we are lucky enough to have Josh Hatton coming up from the central coast to do a presentation and speak of his recent first hand experiences herping and surveying the native fauna in Mauritius and Madagascar for 6 months. This will be an awesome talk not one to be missed! Hope to see as many people as possible there.

04.01.2022 Don't miss our next upcoming meeting on the 6th of October! We are lucky enough to have Jim Frazier as special guest speaker. Jim Frazier is an Australian inventor, naturalist and cinematographer who invented the Frazier lens. He has won many Australian and international awards for his work, including an Academy Award for Technical Achievement[1] and an Emmy Award. He is well known for filming documentaries for David Attenborough together with his long-time collaborator Aust...ralian naturalist, photographer and writer Densey Clyne. Clyne and Frazier formed a partnership known as Mantis Wildlife Films and their work including Webs of Intrigue,[2] has won numerous international awards. David Attenborough asked the pair to work on his series Life on Earth and The Living Planet. Frazier and Clyne contributed 55 minutes of footage to Life on Earth.[3] Frazier's career as a wildlife cinematographer has been spread over more than 40 years, with an Emmy, 3 Golden Tripods,[4] a US Industrial Film & Video Gold Camera Award, an Honorary Doctorate and over 40 national and international awards for his work. 04.01.2022 Congratulations to David Barnes you were the successful winner of the family pass into the expo! Also we have had concerns about the weather with the event, there are no flood threats for the expo or access in and out of the expo around the Port Macquarie area. Hope everyone is looking forward to another great expo tomorow!
