25.01.2022 Great news for Scouts! The NSW Government has announced the further easing of COVID-19 restrictions, with up to fifty (50) people able to gather outdoors from Tuesday 1 December. Remember, social distancing rules still apply. .....taken from the Scouts NSW FB page.

22.01.2022 A huge day was spent out at Camp Eagle Eye on the weekend past, seeing Monty's run is back in operation and EXTENDED! 4 new berms to make those corners faster and more fun. And a couple of neat roll-overs to make those boring straight lines more interesting. A HUGE thanks to Lex & Doug for making all of this possible - all in time for our Mountain bike skills this weekend.

21.01.2022 EDITED 15.11.20 - Dozer has hit the $1000 mark!!!! A HUGE "BRAVO" to Scout Will "Dozer" Gleeson from Coffs Harbour Scout Group, as not only did he achieve what he set out to do (ride 200km and raise $500) - but he managed to raise a whopping $772.79 for all his hard work. All whilst overcoming a diverse range of boundaries from a severe head cold, a fracture in his right thumb, tolerating going bike riding with his Mum (which apparently was not very cool) and then right at t...he end having to borrow another bike, due to mechanical failure. Dozer would like to thank each and everyone of the amazing people that helped sponsor him on this journey. Not only has he managed to raise some fund to help kick Cancers butt - but he has grown as an individual from this experience and is already planning for next year. There is still time to support Dozer until the end of November and help him raise even more funds to kick Cancers Butt! - https://greatcyclechallenge.com.au/Riders/DozerGleeson

14.01.2022 All Scouting members are invited to join the APR Scout Photo Contest 2021! This year’s theme of the APR Scout Photo Contest is Unity in Adversity. With the health crisis still widespread, Scouts have taken various approaches to address related issues by taking care of themselves, their communities, and their environment. Scouts continue to build connection from their homes, within their communities, and for the most part, virtually. National Scout Organisations are explorin...g different options online campfires and virtual events, urban and community gardens, information and educational campaigns. Some Scouts volunteered in temporary shelters and quarantine facilities, while others addressed the issues of hunger. Any members that have captured activities or projects related to the theme are encouraged to share them as entries. All submissions must be sent to [email protected] by COB on 30 June 2021.

12.01.2022 Happy Lunar New Year to all in our Scouting community who celebrate it! 2021 is the year of the Ox. The Ox is said to be hardworking and honest, which is a trait shared by our Scouts!

11.01.2022 It was great to share the reasons why Scouts still connects with young people and resonates with their parents. " I like the skills you learn, which you can use for life not just Scouts, and the friendships you make that will probably last you for a lifetime and the adventure and creativity it gives you." Thanks Raphaela. We couldn't have said it better ourselves! #scoutsnsw #skillsforlife #friendsforlife #adventure #fun #scoutsrock

11.01.2022 The re-roofing of the 2nd Port Macquarie Scout Hall is complete and it looks amazing. A brilliant job done by JS & CJ Walsh Builders - all made possible thanks to part of an Economic Stimulus Package that was recently received. .

View our full statement below: Scouts is about community. Community is all of us. It’s about knowing when to say sorry And when to reach out To people who need our help Or our understanding. It may be hard for us to understand But it is not hard for us to imagine The pain felt by some families and communities. 01.01.2022 A HUGE BRAVO to two amazing men, Ian & Cooper Hale, who have once again, selflessly given their time and services to attend Shitbox Rally and help raise funds for The Cancer Council. For those that are new to our Region or page, Ian is the Region Commissioner of North Coast and is the man with his finger on the pulse, whilst Cooper is a key member of the Region Activities team. Both are very dedicated when it comes to Scouting and are always first to volunteer no matter how big or what the job is.
