23.01.2022 POSITION VACANT ALUMINIUM WINDOW/DOOR FABRICATOR North East Glass is a progressive manufacturer of Vantage aluminium windows and doors located in Wangaratta in the beautiful north east Victoria. We operate out of a modern, well organized factory and showroom. We currently have a vacancy for a window and door fabricator to join our busy team. It will be an advantage to have some experience with the Vantage aluminium range, however consideration will be made for those with... fabrication or related industry experience. This role is for an experienced fabricator who:- Has skills in commercial fabrication of aluminium framing and all other aspects of commercial installations of glass and aluminium. A sound knowledge and experience with vantage products is an advantage Has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work Has clear verbal and written communication skills Ability to decipher plans and site drawings would be an advantage Is able to understand and carry out instructions from a production coordinator and follow written instructions from assembly documents. Can focus their attention to detail and on a consistently high quality standard of work Has a high level of ingenuity, creativity and problem solving Is fit and able to lift double glazed windows and doors Is honest, reliable and punctual with a clean and tidy work ethic. Is self motivated and can work well within a team Has a valid Australian drivers licence and able to drive a manual truck. At NO time should a window or door... be hit with a full force of a hose nozzle/jet setting as this may damage window seals and adversely affect air infiltration and water penetration performance.
