22.01.2022 Fashions on the Field at the North Gregory Turf Club Races on Saturday was judged by Judy Lenton from Melbourne. Unfortunately Judy wasn’t actually at the track. Like some much else in this new world it was done remotely. All entrances had a series of photos take that where then sent for Judy to study. Winner and Judges comments Little Miss... Winner was Entrant No.60 Elsie Good from Camara Station. Love the coordination of the millinery and clutch. Millinery also suits her beautifully. Special mention to No.47 Lucy Elliott for beautiful millinery. Special mention to No.59 matching sister Tillie and Pippa Mutton for frock coordination (I do love a good matchy matchy) Little Man Winner No.51 Ethan Cox Love the yellow buttonhole. Special mention to all the Little Man entrants, may they continue their sartorial journey. Gent Winner No.33 Gary Doke The Judge appreciate the waist coat and the careful coordination of the colour palette. And a hat that is not a cowboy hat! 1920’s theme Winner No.52 Sam Foxwell Beautiful colour and fit on her Special mention for No.49's Angela Powell-Bruhn styling of the long pearls, very appropriate to the decade. Millinery Winner No.87 Sophie Banning. Can't go past bigger is bigger is better! Gorgeous piece with colours that compliment her beautifully. Loved the coordination of the clutch (more matchy matchy) Special mention to No 85 Sue Mitchell - Loved the bronze tonings for an autumn race meet. Innovative Lady. Winner No.56 Emma Read Loved the separates ensemble. Great accessories with the leopard tieing the whole look together. Special mention to No.88 Grace Elliott for the gorgeous handbag and an overall fun look Classic lady Winner No.7 Jessica Greenaway LOVE a good polka dot and frock is beautiful on her Special mentions. to 48 Madison Godfrey for a gorgeous country race meet look. And to No.53 Charmaine Watkin for the coordination of frock and flower millinery and green which is a colour we rarely see! The standard of entrants was fabulous, I love that these ladies & gents make the effort and I hope you all come back next year. Congratulations to the winners, I hope you had as much fun as I did.
