19.01.2022 * NOW THURSDAY THE 8th of OCTOBER * The North Huon Cricket Club enters its third season with with a women's team from the Huon, with training commencing on Wednesday Oct 7 from 4pm-5:30pm at the Ranelagh nets. The club and competition is open to and caters for women of all ages and abilities, and will provide uniforms and registration free of charge to participants.... Commencing with an Under 15 side in the first year, and moving to an open age side the following year, the Club was fortunate enough to be awarded the Cricket Tasmania Innovation in Women's Cricket award last season for the steps that we have taken to get his program up and running. The club would love to see some returning and new faces about, and ideally would aim to field both sides this year, so if you keen, just interested or curious, come along to a friendly and fun atmosphere, and get involved! 18.01.2022 The North Huon Under 15s have the bye this Tuesday, but had a great turn out and run on the track this Monday. Training has now moved to Monday nights from 4:00pm for both Under 15s and Open Age women - there are always spots available so if you want to get along and have go come and join in!

15.01.2022 The Under 15 girls team played their first match together last Tuesday at Ranelagh Oval. - Happiest batsman award for Round 1 goes to Gracie Ashlin. - Happiest bowler award for Round 1 goes to Demi Batchelder.

13.01.2022 Don’t forget that our Season launch is happening this Sunday, the 18th of October from 11am. With Juniors having activities at 11am. Presentations for last season at 12:30pm
12.01.2022 The under 15 girls really got into the swing of things for their second game of year. Traveling up to Olgilvie to take on CTPL club New Town, the girls took early wickets in a much improved performance to restrict New Town to 5-114 from their 20 overs. Shayla Terry, Gracie Ashlin and Abby Joe Delany were all wicket takers, with Shayla also getting a run out. ... In reply, the side set off about chasing down the target. Shayla top score with 20, but handy knocks of 16 from Ruby Wilson, 15 from Grace Fahey, and 12 from Demi Batchelder saw the game go right down to the line, New Town running out close victors by just 7 runs. A huge improvement to the girls in just their second game, and a great result for Grace Lovell and Kim Steel looking after the side.

09.01.2022 The North Huon women kick off their campaign this coming Sunday at Ranelagh at 10:30am With a couple of debutantes coupled with some experienced players from last year, and a new ruleset to go as well, this promises to be an exciting time! The side can still cater for a couple of extra players - if you are interested in having a go, come down and have a look, and maybe coming along to the next session.
