20.01.2022 Family & Domestic Violence - The Facts & Statistics need to be repeated. Sadly, even during the hardest times following the Northern Rivers flood, the Northern... Rivers Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy (NRWVCAS) Service and the NRCLC Family Law Solicitor responded to crisis (domestic violence) calls. The NRWDVCAS Team office was completely flooded. Sadly, NRWDVCAS lost all of their office equipment and resources. However, the NRWDVCAS Service were back on board from Monday 3 April. All calls for support were responded to. NRWDVCAS are one of 28 individual WDVCAS services across New South Wales, who support women and their children who are experiencing domestic violence who are seeking legal protection from the courts.
